Jeffs d looks nothing like the original design. thats why the ryan bros are still having sucess and fishs team is being exposed. He IS a Buddy Ryan deciple, but he has mutated the true 46 into something that is way too predictable, relies too much on the front 4, and leaves the corners on an island. and hes too damn stubborn to admit it is no longer effective in the NFL. Are the Jets a "defensive team that plays conservative on offense"?

 

Why's everyone want Gruden? He got fired in Tampa for a reason. He's also incapable of coaching a QB under the age of 35. I don't want our (hopefully) rookie QB next year to be treated like he's Rich Gannon or Rob Johnson.

Haha, Fisher isn't even out yet, and we're having legitimate discussions on who our next coach should be. Realistically, Fisher will be here for at least one more season.

 

I think we need to go away from the Buddy Ryan school of thought ... completely. That's just me though. Plus I honestly think Rex is the better of the two coaches.

He hasn't won a playoff game in 7 years. This team has been shut out once in each of the last three seasons. He went on a 6 game losing streak last season and is currently on a 4 game skid.

Might as well pack his bags. No more excuses. He's had time.
