I expected to see an inspired team show up. Maybe Dinger's news just took the wind out of their sails, maybe the drama last week was too much of a distraction. But this team has played through drama before.

Right now it looks like either 1) the team went with Vince out of that locker room or 2) Vince just happened to express what the rest of the team already felt about Fisher.

I don't know - if I'm a player on this team, Dinger's presence would have inspired me. If VY really sucks you'd think the majority of the team would be secretly glad he's out of the picture... all the "drama" wouldn't have been a distraction as much as a great chance to move ahead. It looks to me like Fisher underestimated the support VY has in the locker room.

 

Saying "Switch to a 3-4" is easy to say...We would need acouple years of drafting and building to have decent 3-4 players..Id much rather run the 4-3 with whatever coach we bring in then let him draft acouple years to get ready for a 3-4 if he wants to change

 

Munchak would be the best bet...Dinger wont be able to coach and Cecil..just no..

There's no doubt in my mind that it's BOTH of those things MJ. I think the guys who have been around here for a significant period of time have been tired of Fisher and his ways for awhile now. I always got the feeling Bulluck and some of the other older vets weren't too crazy about him when they were here.

The one positive that comes from this loss is that it HAS to be the straw that broke the Fish's back. There's just no excuse for Bud to keep him around for another year now, assuming he's serious about winning it all before he goes.

 

Yesterday looked like the proverbial "coach has lost the team" has set in.

 

The giants are no bigger than we are up front.
