I have absolutely no problem with Kubiak giving AJ a game ball. That's a pretty monumental feat he accomplished.

I believe in playing the game the RIGHT WAY. Finnegan doesn't do that. He belongs on the Steelers.

It's Kubiak's call, but IMO, that was an unclassy move. I saw the presentation, and he kind of laughed that Johnson didn't finish the game. Johnson's accomplishment should have been recognized, LATER. The guy had just thrown punches on the field and received an ejection. It just wasn't classy timing.

I agree the timing was bad. The point I'm trying to make though is that players always get a game ball for major statistical accomplishments. Last year if CJ would've punched a Seattle defender during the game he broke 2,000 yards I have no doubt he still would've received a game ball. One doesn't have anything to do with the other (meaning the stats and the emotions, or whatever you wanna call it).

And I'd say Kubiak was laughing it off only because they all know what a punk Cortland can be. If Andre had swung on someone like Verner I bet his reaction would've been different.

I love Finny. Tough, good, not afraid to stand up to bigger dudes. Andre Johnson couldn't get anything going against him yesterday...that's the real reason that all went down. He's no different then Hines Ward, he just doesn't play for the steelers or ravens so instead of 'hard nosed' he's 'dirty'

I was readinthrough this thred and someone mentioned CF gave up td..that is false. they were plying zonand the LB (Shaw) I believe bit on the PA and tried to runback to his zone.

    As for my opinion

CF is our man, this is his syle of play. Youve got to be din sometng right to get to the hed of AJ (on of the most humble players in thNFL). I agree he instigated it BUT it was all legal what he did up untill him ripng e helmet off. You shouldnt get thriwn ou the game for that. It happns all the time. 5'10 against 6'3 youhave to aim high so he ges his neck.

If he can do this to take out WR's th I'm all for it. He shuldn t ripped the helmet off. that ws the ONLY thing I saw wrong

Huh? Is there really a debate on this? The guy that's voted as one of the league's dirtiest player by his peers, and Andre Johnson, a guy that is one of the most quiet and respectful players on the field... and you guys are acting like it's Andre Johnson who is classless?

Geez! What Andre Johnson did was over the top and uncalled for, but I honestly can't believe people are DEFENDING Fennigan, a second rate corner that has to play dirty because he can't cover good receivers. Fennigan is known throughout the league as a dirty player and is on record saying he would like to be the dirtiest player.

Seriously man! I just find it hard to believe that people in here are bashing AJ and giving CF a pass! "He's our guy".... what kind of nonsense is that? So, since he's "our guy" he can do whatever the hell he wants huh? That's bush league!
