I agree with the premise of this post. We beat jax and indy at home and we are on top of the division holding the tie-breakers.

Britt and Collins continue to get healthy and the D-line gets back to full strength. It seems more than plausible to me. Let's not forget that although Collins is no Vince, he is no Rusty Smith either.

I don't see us going deep but it would be fun to have a playoff game. I'd rather go on the road but I guess the division winners get to host the wildcard teams.

I don't see a contract extension for Fisher whether or not we make the playoffs. I think the prevailing sentiment is that it is time for a change. I'd like to send Fisher off with a playoff experience. He hasn't given us a Super Bowl but he has provided a relatively stable franchise. Let's not tear up the team just to unify the fanbase for his departure. It can (and should IMO) end amicably.

We have 0-6 Kerry Collins. It's unrealistic.

 

I honestly would rather lose out this season so we can get a new coaching staff. Rather than another Fisher hating VY drama filled 8-8 season.
