Why do people want mike singletary
He can't handle and motivate his own quarterbacks and he has a good running back ,a wide receiver and one of the best tight ends and middle linebackers in the league and he plays in a weak division where 9 wins means you're going to the playoffs maybe 8 and he can't get the job done he has no business coming to the afc south
I say either fire fisher or promote him to gm and Bring in that defensive coordinator from san Diego he knows how to handle peyton manning and keep Cecil one more year and hiemerdinger if he can beat cancer for some reason I always think fisher is keeping his coaches handcuffed bout what they can or cannot do so I would lile to see them with another coach

 

He has three sucker QB's, a good Running Back that can't stay healthy, but still does well under him. Every team in the NFL has a wide receiver. This TE you speak of was mediocre before Mike showed up, and many people credited him for Davis' improvements.

And mike singletary plays in a division where all he has to do is beat the cardinals,rams,and seahawks and your in the playoffs I don't want him dropping his pants and giving motivational speeches nowhere near Nashville

this entire statement could be chalked up to myth.

1st - I want Jeff Fisher to have nothing to do with my draft picks - ever again
2nd - he's good with players ..?... his players have turned on him, because he turned on them

all doom and gloom aside, we've seen enough of Fisherball
his best move would be to go into broadcasting, where he'd be one of the best

To clarify, I think it makes sense IF VY is QB in 2011. Singletary has proven he can handle tough personalities and even get better production out of them.

I don't think many quality coaches would sign on here with no say about the starting QB. Singletary might.


I'd rather see us commit to a different style and direction, but I'm trying to be realistic that Bud isn't going to release VY.
