Why do so many Titans fans support Jeff Fisher over Vince Young?

Fisher has had 6 playoff appearances in 17 years! Vince Young has been to two of those in 5 years! Vince is 30-17 as a starting Quarterback! Is Vince over emotional about losing? Absolutely! Are'nt we all? You can't tell me that you've never been "over emotional" after a Titans loss! The root of the Titans problem is a complete lack of willingness to change and adapt as the NFL haw evolved to a passing league. Is Vince the passer we need to take us into the future? Probably not, but I'm not going to come in here and praise Jeff Fisher either! Bottom line is we need to overhaul this team to favor a passing offense.

I'm not saying we forget about running the ball with CJ but use him differently as a pass receiving Running Back. CJ needs space and to be honest I can't remember the last time the Titans even attempted a screen play to him. Really Titans? REALLY?

 

I disagree. I think the next coach won't be an idiot and will give VY 100% support. The next coach will get respect in return from VY. Now if this happens again then we will know it wasn't just Fisher. I'm guessing Fisher is gone and VY is here and will have a great season next year and perhaps a win or two in the playoffs. Fisher will then be getting interviewed by ESPN saying that VY is a better player because of the hard love he gave VY.

If Fisher would have just made sure he put the best players on the field and got the hell out of the way the Titans are in forst place of the division right now.

Donovan McNabb and Albert Haynesworth will lead the re-birth and take Titans to the promised land! :wink2:

This whole McNabb fiasco kinda makes me want Haynesworth back a bit....Maybe he isn't a fat lazy slob that ruined his own career....Yeah and maybe Randy Moss will actually catch a TD with the Titans, dreams :sad2:

 

as long as kfc is gone I would take Donovan. Heck his college suckitude led to the Vols winning a National championship. Plus his conditioning is so bad the young QBs will get plenty of snaps. Fat Albert needs motivating, but he is only motivated by $$$ so he will probably never be motivated again.
