I justify being a Titans fan by being a Titans fan. I get pissed when we lose, I am ecstatic when we win. I talk sh!+ about everyone on this team fairly when it's called for. I get sick to my stomach when I see how great this team is only to have some bizarre collapse wash it all away.

Times are about as bad as they've ever been for us right now. But through it all, coaching changes (fingers crossed), salary cap hell, sub .500 seasons, no playoffs I will always remain true to this team.

I moved to Mem from Maryland (yeah I know) and it's pretty shocking how few Titan fans there are. The local paper might bury a couple paragraphs in the back of the sports section but that's about it. I see a lot of Cowboy and Stiller fans (mostly bandwagonners from the SB runs) and then a spattering of other teams but not many TN fans here. Not sure why.

Memphis will always be bitter that Nashville got a team instead of them.

Another reason I wish the team was "Nashville" instead of "Tennessee"

As a former Knoxvillian, I was very glad they named them "Tennessee" but now it bothers me how many Knoxvillians are Colts fans because of Pey Pey. I can't wait until he retires and they try to jump back up on the Titans bandwagon. I will call them all out.

"Nashville" would be cooler but then it would probably have been some Country Music name rather than The Titans - The Nashville Dobros

I sure as hell didn't wanna be a Bengals fan, and being from Southern KY it was either the Titans or Falcons. I liked the uniforms...plus the move to Nashville happened when I was 6. It's not like I was an Oilers fan.

It didn't hurt that UK played in the '99 Music City Bowl at LP either.

The Titans are my team. I won't just up and quit.

Every Titans fan accross America and even "Japan" is frustrated right now! It's not hard on one of us but all of us! At some point in each of our lives (we chose) to become Titans fans and to me that is a life-time committment pending anything universally embarrassing (fingers crossed ;) - - The point is that maybe now is one of those times where we can't count on our coach, quarterback, 3rd down defense, Blocking Offense, Offensive playbook, any person with hands on offense, the ability of a LB to cover an opposing TE but, and this is a BIG BUT, we can I repeat CAN count on each other as fans to understand what each of us is going through.

This team will go on to do great things maybe without the Jeff Fishers and Vince Youngs and I know one thing, I'll still be right here when it does!

    GO TITANS!!!

We need to come up with a "name the team" contest if they were the "Nashville..."
