At certain points in each of these coaches careers... the statement could have been made that "if fired, they would find another job in 5 minutes."

You think about this... Wade Phillips won a playoff game recently. Brad Childress won a playoff games recently as well. Has Fisher? What about winning the division? Is it even close on paper?

This whole "coach will have another job in 5 minutes" is hogwash. It's meant as a scare tactic to a city that has only ever known one coach ever since the franchise has arrived. Its the last crying plea of a dying regime. That's the worst reasoning I've ever heard for ever wanting to keep a coach.

It's like having a mediocre relationship and the only reason you stay in the relationship is because other guys want to date her. If you aren't happy, it's time to move on, regardless if anyone else wants that person or not. Back to football... lol

This is the NFL, which is short for NOT FOR LONG. Look at Chilly and Phillips. On paper, these guys are excellent coaching candidates but unless I'm missing something, I don't see anybody going out of their way to pick them up. Where do u think they will wind up? If Anywhere? :gag:

On paper, yes they're both solid coaches, but in life they both suck. Then there is Fisher who remains employed. On paper Fisher sucks, and in life Fisher sucks. Should be clear to see whats next for Fisher.

The difference is expectations. Childress had the best RB in the game, a HOF QB, a solid defensive team, and didn't succeed.

Phillips had a supposedly great QB, two good RBs, one of the best pass rushers in the game, and very high expectations, and didn't succeed.

Let's face it, before this season, most of us did not have Super Bowl expectations. VY has never won a playoff game and is always injured, and the only reason CJ got 2K is because we gave up on the year and handed the ball off. The defense is full of nobodies, and the "stars" we have have been exposed as being average or worse (Griffin, Hope, Finnegan) To most, we were 8-8 potential. And they were right.

That's why those guys got cut first, and Fisher has a job for now. Will he keep it? I'm hoping not.

I bet Childress goes back to Philly as some sort of offensive assistant (I doubt he gets the title of OC).

No real feeling as to where Phillips goes.

Wade will probably get another shot at DC somewhere
then maybe after having some success he might get another chance at HC

idk about Chilly its was clear at Minni the players did not respect or like him
they thought he was a joke
