I was thinking about this last night.

He's the only realistic QB on the market that pus us back into contention. Whether we move Vince or not, we should consider this option.

If we get McNabb and a Head Coach that runs an offense that he's familiar with, such as a Marty Morninweg or Mike Singletary, I have no doubt that McNabb can and will thrive in that offense. And with the weapons our team has on offense, he could have some of the best seasons of his career with us. CJ is comparable to a better Brian Westbrook and Kenny Britt is already better than any WR McNabb has worked with his entire career with the exception of Owens and Jackson.

It's hard not to believe the aquisition of McNabb in an offense hes familiar with, with a HC that backs him as "his guy" he will light it up. I could see us having the best offense in the AFC South by this time next season to be honest.

I'm not so sure McNabb isn't as done as Washington thinks he is.

I like the guy a lot, just not sure if he has anything left to offer.

I've watched every Washington game. And he just looks uncomfortable out there. At times he'll look like the McNabb of old, other times he'll look lost and panic and throw it toward the wrong receiver.

Not to mention, Washington's O-Line has given McNabb zero chance to go downfield with the ball, or do much of anything really.

EXACTLY! That is where Washington has been failing for the past decade is at offensive line. I don't care if your Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, if you do not have a line to block you will SUCK! It all starts at the line of scrimmage..a good o-line allows the mediocre quarterback to shine and a good d-line allows a mediocre secondary to explode. It's a common principle of football, the 101 of football if you will. I wouldn't mind having McNabb, but VY was on the upside when he got hurt and we owe him a lot of money, so we mine as well save as much money as we can for 2012 and keep VY. Either though we could get McNabb at a discount, it would still be a big hit to the cap when we could be beefing up our o-line and d-line. Even Fisher said we need to get bigger at d-line with some more 300 pounders aka Haynesworth.

    McNabb>Collins

I don't care if we sign McNabb solely for the purpose of letting Collins walk, just don't re-sign Collins!

By not renegotiating contracts between Collins & Scaife, the Titans are looking at about $10M worth of revenue they can throw around to fill needs. Surely there's something for McNabb in that $10M.

I've always liked McNabb. I think he's a darn good QB and a classy guy, and I for one would be happy to have him in Tennessee. In spite of the fact that he's probably not as elusive as he once was, he still has a cannon of an arm and when his O-line gives him time to throw (which he has not had in Washington), he can be a very accurate QB.

I'd be thrilled if the Titans signed him and drafted a promising young QB like Mallet, Locker, Ponder, Moore, etc. However, I do think that there will be a lot of interest in McNabb around the league. Other teams like Cincy, Arizona, and Minnesota will probably be interested in him too, so a lot of stars would probably have to align for him to end up in Nashville.

    I'd take him as a #2 but I doubt he'd take #2 money.
