Why do people have this thought that Fisher wanted Collins instead of McNair?

The choice was likely going to be McNair or Kevin Carter.

what, our fanbase makes occasional typos/misrememberings?? should be #3 pick, but who gives a crap?? my point still stands.

    in my opinion, your comment,

"VY has bailed Fisher out several years now or Fish would have lost his job much earlier"

is much more embarassing. only a Titans fan would actually consider Vince Young to be a good NFL qb that can save a coach's job. if you're educated about nfl football, you know that even the best running QBs fail in the nfl if they can't be good pocket passers. VY is not, never was, and now we know never will be a good pocket passer. it's been 5 years. he's had some deceptively good moments, and several Ws in the win column due to strong D and running game, but the experiment is over. he was exciting to watch at times, but he's not the guy that will lead us to a super bowl. Vinsanity ruined the titans, courtesy of bud adams.

I dont know about you guys... but VY better be the MVP of the league next year with a new coach. If we are a 4-5 win team next season, Merrill Hoge might have the last laugh. I don't want that to happen.

Vince Young saving Fisher's job doesn't mean he's a great QB. It means he was the QB this team needed to start winning again.

And he clearly did bail Fisher out. Twice.

Mike Freeman would be fired if he worked for ESPN. To bad he needs to be their top anchor after brilliant words like that. What's funny is when Fisher does get hired that team will be looked at as a legit Superbowl contender, especially if he goes to Dallas, ESPECIALLY.

That's because all he really knows is the pro-Fisher propaganda. If he watched him up close like we do he'd have a whole other attitude.
