I blame Fish for refusing to accept the reality of what Young's skill sets are and adjusting his scheme to fit them instead of force-feeding Vince into a style of player he's not built to be. Fisher had a choice. He chose to be stubborn instead of innovative. That is the bottom line, IMHO.

Because we bashed Schwartz so much for creating a losing defense.

I blame Bud for refusing to give Fisher the QB he wanted/needed to run his system.

Fisher shouldn't have to change his system to adapt to a running QB.

Yeah because those awful 5-11 and 4-12 seasons in 04 and 05 was obviously Young's fault...

When will people realise that Jeff Fisher's winning percentage has nothing to do with who is QB, but EVERYTHING to do with OL and defence???

Jeff Fisher wanted Matt leinart would we be better of with him! Reese was the one that wanted cutler not fisher, so would we be better off with Leinart? The defense of fisher gets less and less each day. Vince Young is not the reason jeff is in trouble. His coaching record and decisions since 2004 are why I think he is gone.

Why does the defense suck? Did Bud make jeff take some players on defense jeff didnt want? Jeff ran Reese out the door, and has been calling 99 percent of the shots since, and it has not worked out!

you realize dallas is considered a superbowl contender every year right?
secondly i think thats exactly what freeman was gettin at....and sayin WHY???? i suppose his steller post season record, his .530 winning %,or maybe its all the rings he already has???? oh thats right he doesnt.

fisher is a good coach, not a great coach or some coach thats gunna turn some team into an elite super bowl winning power house. his next team will be much like ours has been, decent. fisher has done ZERO to prove he's the next belichick or anything close to that.

....and trying to get players to adapt to his schemes rather adapting his schemes to get the best out of his available players.

Dude, just stop. I'm not talking about the typos. This is a message board and I could careless as I'm sure I have them too. This is embarrassing that you and other type this stupid stuff about VY and giving Fisher a pass. VY has been one of the bright spots this team has had since Carl Reese left. . Fisher has some of the best athletes in Football like CJ and VY and he was too stupid to keep them all on the field. If he would have put the best players on the field including VY and got the f^%k out of the way and let his assistants coach those talented athletes, we are in first place of our division and headed to the playoffs as we speak. This would be the third time VY bailed out Fisher from losing his job. Unfortunately Fisher bit the hand that was feeding him and he's too stupid to know this. His ego is his downfall.

We have a coach with an ego the size of Manhattan; We have a QB with one the size of Texas, we have players who are mediocre at best; we have an owner that is half senile, with a love attachment to Texas and Vince. How could we not be dysfunctional? The only way this organization is going to improve is for Fisher, Vince, and Bud to go away, let the grandson take over, get a new and greatly improved GM, spend a little more money for the best out there, and just maybe we could be competitive.
Is that too much to ask for? :D (I laugh because my crystal ball sees none of that happening!)
