When are we supposed to find out about Fisher? Is there a press conference scheduled or something?

Kubiak is safe also, but the DC got fired. Wade Phillips is suppose to replace as Texans DC.

What is with this division and hanging on to mediocre coaches? Fisher, Kubiak, Del Rio...

Best quote of that article: "Del Rio, 66-65 with the Jaguars, is the first coach since the NFL merger in 1970 to lead the same team for eight years without capturing a division title." Obviously he is the leader the Hags need for a Super Bowl run. And his team sure draws quite a crowd for the games...

Apparently in the AFC South, winning is not that big of a deal.

FYI, you can hear the press conference on WSMV.com and 1045thezone.com.

It's moved to 4:15 or as late as 4:30.

Right I understand that, and I wouldn't try to bring up the argument again for the people that do think he is good. I just don't understand the logic of those that think he is some kind of god. I will give credit where credit is due, he did show improvement when he took back over as the starter last year, and all the way through this year.

But he has in no way shown that he can play at an elite level, or even a probowl level for that matter. I don't think he has ever passed for over 2,500 yards in a season to be honest (Stats aren't everything of course) With all this childish BS and lazy work ethic that we get from him it's quite clear he's more trouble than he is worth.

And another little interesting stat for those people who like to make the argument "Oh well he's a winner!"

Vince young Career record is 30-17

23-5 against teams with a losing record

7-12 against teams with a winning record

He is a winner amongst losers, and a loser amongst winners. End.

Well, I think its safe to assume Fisher isnt fired. At least for today, we are either going to get the official verdict or the stupid "Im still under contract, Im not going to speak about Meeting im not involved in, nobody fired me so Im still here...etc etc"

not good, presser starts in 11 mins, no way he has a presser unless he is keeping his job or hes quitting. Dont think quitting is an option for now.

Up, it was just pushed back, maybe im wrong. guess its prob 30-45 mins until presser

Yeah- I made the same argument for people to get off Vince's back 5 years ago and for us to draft him.

The test is designed to see how rapidly and accurately a person can analyze and react to information. There are many factors other than that ability that are relevant to NFL success- but I strongly contend that the Wonderlic exposed a deficiency in Vince that his NFL experience has validated.
