I'd like any coach coming in to make the VY decision himself. I think it looks better either way. If he wants him gone then let the coach make that call and Adams puts to bed the "meddling" talk. If he wants him to stay then make it clear the new coach is deciding it, not Bud, and it helps give the new guy credibility in the locker room.

I'd love to see Gruden, but he is known for having complicated terminology for his QBs. I'm not sure how VY/Gruden would work, but if Chucky wanted him I'd be game to give it a go.

    Very true, unfortunately.

Its either bud adams fault for not getting players, Vince Young the qb, or he has had only had one good qb ( think fisher thinks KFC is a hall of famer and that is part of the problem), but there is always someone else to blame but Fisher. Fisher and young need to go. But if Fisher stays and lets say we draft Mallette or a franchise qb, then from what I have heard him say, is KFC is back. Fisher will only have a 1 year deal, and he will only play the rookie if KFC gets hurt. That means 4 or 5 wins.

New coach, new staff, and let the new coach decide about the qb. Fisher needs to go and the next coach, unless he has superbowl rings, does not need to have the power that Fisher has had, we need checks and balances.

I just watched the Marvin Lewis pressed and he was very up front about taking responsibility for the teams failure over the season. Saying it all came down to him and his inability to make the team a winner. Things a coach should say. When was the last time Fisher said anything close to that? All hr can say nowadays is we'll discuss things later and the latest its me or VY. Does this irritate anyone else?

I'm sure Bengals fans feel SOO much better about their season now that Lewis said that.

It doesn't matter. The team always reflects the coach, whether the coach decides to admit that or not.

That wasn't my point. My point was at least other coaches can take responsibility and be vocal about it. VS the fishspeak of finding any reason other than him as to why his team is losing.

Fisher blames others and makes excuses and he gets away with it! Hats off to Fisher!

He stays and we draft a qb get ready for 2011 and KFC, jeff gonna prove that the guy can do it! Or lose alot of games, again!

He certainly does know how to keep a job, that's for sure thus far.

If you're crafty enough to convince your boss that the problems are someone else's fault, you win.

It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. You keep telling people the problems are your fault, you will be hitting the road sooner than later, because people will start believing you.

The most humble people don't win in the business game, the most cunning do.

I could care less if the freakin easter bunny plays QB here next year. As long as Fisher is still the HC does it really matter? The mediocrity and ego the size of Jupiter need to be shown the door.

To bad the business is not about winning football games. And alot of the problems around here have been about doing things fisher's way and not about W and L. I dont find fisher that cunning, I find him arrogant to a fault. Over the years I think that is why his coaching has fallen off. He may keep his job but I dont see how it will win games!

I will give him credit for media manipulation. He has convinced the world that he is a top 5 coach, but does not have the record to back it up.

Oh, it can get darker. Dont forget about the Lions, Beangles, ect.. Also, remember the Fins season 3 or so years ago with only one win? It can get a lot darker.
