What is everyone's perfect scenario for the Titans?

    I was just wondering who exactly everyone wants on this team? Vince is now gone so everyone got their wish, but people don't like Kerry so start Rusty or draft a qb?

    Then I see CJ made comments on Vince leaving that sounded like he was upset- so everyone says CJ and go walk and take money somewhere else. Along with his 1300 yards this year and 2000 last year. You guys are right he doesn't do much for us- so you want Ringer at RB?

    Then everyone hates on Cook- I've heard all kinds of people say he should be cut. But those same people don't like Scaife and want him gone.

    On defense Finnegan has a shaky but still solid year and suddenly its ok to let him walk. Everyone wants an entirely new d-line and again it will be ok to let Tulloch walk.

    Thennnn its our coaching staff- Fisher needs to be gone, then we need to fire the defensive coordinator- then we need to hire a new staff and thennnn Bud Adams is an idiot for trying to control everything.

    I'm really just wondering WHAT IS EVERYONE's PERFECT SCENARIO FOR THIS TEAM? The Mcnair, Eddie, Whycheck days are dead and now we're blowing up the qb spot again, and retooling again. I feel like everyone acts like its madden or fantasy football and you can just go out and get who ever you want and plug them in and everything will be fine.

    We started 5-2 so its not like we're all a bunch of bums on an expansion team. Honestly anyone who talks about letting CJ walk is a freaking idiot and shouldnt post on here- as is the person who suggested a trade for deangelo williams and Jonathan Stewart- where do you come up with this stuff? They were REALLY productive this year as were the panthers on the whole. Phew.:eek:

    I don't think any reasonable Titans fan wants CJ gone. A lot were upset because Cook wasnt being used and we gave up a 2nd round pick for him. As far as Fisher and the staff, yes, they need to be replaced. Fisher has 6 winning seasons in 17 years as a head coach. The entire coaching staff has shown an inability to make in game adjustments. I think most Titans fans just want a direction. Show us a coach who has a plan, a QB who can execute that plan, and a team that will follow. This team needs new leadership from the coaching staff to the players in the locker room.

    This isn't a "perfect scenario" but it's my best guess at what will truly happen.

    Re-sign Tully, Babin, Kern, Shaw, and Harris.
    Try to get some other FAs, probably unlikely.
    Do the draft in my signature
    New D/C
    Keep CJ. Start Britt, D-Will, Cook.

    as for the QB situation, i'm undecided what I want. I'm hoping for a fallen 2nd round QB. Then signing a FA QB, someone like: Matt Moore, Matt Hasselbeck, Alex Smith, Matt Lienart, Brady Quinn, Trent Edwards, Chad Pennington, or Kerry Collins (sadly).

    Sign a stopgap/solid backup type QB and draft Gabbert in the second round.

    Keep CJ unless he is going to be a huge issue, in which case trade him for picks and the stopgap/back up type QB or the best we can get, but that of course is if were that desperate to get rid of him

    Keep Finny, keep tully too as long as he doesnt want wicked crazy money and sign haynesworth, resign babin, and maybe draft another solid D-Lineman, find hopes replacement, and get a starter on o-line at center and shift over amano to guard, and keep cook of course

    Let Fish stay this year, as his last and final chance, if the hype is true, i believe he should be able to assemble at least a playoff worthy team. Im hoping hes cut throat, i dont mind the type of offense we run, but i wanna see more trick plays and d williams in the wildcat. On defense i want cecil gone even though i love his bad attitude

    Use the 1st rd pick and get a defensive leader for this team. The only qb worth a 1st rd pick is Luck and we wont get him. He's probably too mobile for Fisher anyway. Then fire Dinger and Cecil since Fisher is going nowhere. Move Finnegan to Safety to replace Hope since Finnegan forgot how to do anything other than be a punk. Get Al back. Sorry but he and KVB anchored the defense and KVB sure isn't coming back. Find some kind of quality center and have Bud make it known that this is Fishers last year, win or lose. Not too much to ask right?

    And as for CJ. I agree that anyone who even thinks about replacing him is insane. This team has way too many holes top to bottom. No need to add another one. My money says he leaves on his own accord at the end of next season anyway.
