Having a strong arm is one of those things you have to have to play in the NFL. It doesn't have to be JaMarcus strong, but it has to be pretty good. The only QB I can think of to play well with a weak arm was Chad Pennington. QBs like Peyton, Brady, and Brees are so lauded for their other strengths, that their strong arms often get overlooked.

It really is a shame that this guy is so small (by QB standards) and lacks a strong arm. I absolutely love everything else about the guy. Seems to have a real passion and sense for the game. And from what I hear works really hard in the film room.

You are talking about him dueling with hall of famers for crying out loud, like he is one of the best prospects out there.

The Broncos previous Qb to Moore was Taylor Tharp who completed 68% of his passes with 28 Tds and only 9 ints. Tharp has had no NFL career.

Could be a system thing like with Graham Harrell who also had an incredible college career but is not even 2nd string in the NFL and Harell is 6'2.

Yeah. Because I think the kid could be great. That doesn't mean I want to reach for him. Whereever hes projected to go, is where I would like to draft him.

    7th round next year...

    I'd be okay with that.

I'm not trying to dump on anyone just that there have been so many truly great college QBs who were nothing in the nfl.

Graham Harrell always comes to mind because he was one of the best college QBs this decade, a real accurate passer and leader who did as much with the talent he had as anybody could and he has not gone anywhere in the nfl.

If there is a guy in this draft who has many of the qualities that you are talking about with Kellen Moore it's Pat Devlin. Devlin will be a day one pick and he has decent size but there are some issues about arm, and how big he really is. Some sites list him at 6'2 and some at 6'4. That's a difference of one round in the draft.

Look up Pat Devlin, he played in a west coast offense and was very accurate and smart. Might be our best bet in rd 2 if we don't go Qb in rd 1.
