Aaron Rodgers or VY?

Rodgers owns the NFL right this minute, GO PACK!

 

Rodgers has played great so far. QB is a fickle position though. He's responsible for that offense's success so it'll be interesting to see how he does the rest of the playoffs though. I'd still take Manning, Brees, Brady, Rivers, and Big Ben over him though. He's getting really close to my top 5 though.

 

Who are the 14 that voted for Young? His family and Bud adams?

Nope, CjtheBeast and 13 other people that no longer post here. Which breaks my heart, because they had some thoughtful posts, and I personally feel they were a valuable part of the forum.

No need for alternate accounts. Just developed quite a following of haters because I stood up for Young.

Rodgers is god now? He didn't break 200 yds passing last game.

The guy is good, but Vince was no scrub this year and our Vince Young lead offense was more potent than the one Rodgers has. And that was with Gage and Nate Washington. He also had a better passer rating.

So please argue with stats and facts instead of trying to bash me. By the way, Manning, Brees, and Brady are all out of the playoffs right now and they were all supposedly what made their offenses tick. COaching is a huge factor in the playoffs.

And yea I did play college ball. Will you quit trying to act like that's something I should be ashamed of? I mean how in the h*ll do you turn that into a plus for your argument? Can you riddle me that?

Because you sound incredibly arrogant. You give that as your rationale as to why you are superior to other posters. You played NAIA, right? That's a step above High school, a step below DIII, where many slightly above average High school athletes (like myself) got a few offers to play, (Anderson University, Franklin University where I was offered a starting role at DT, lah dee frickin dah.), and a WKU coach came down to talk to me and get tape (nothing came of that.. I was slightly above average, just big)
but I didn't play, because it is a waste of time, and gets you nowhere. I wasn't going to play if I wasn't going to get a scholarship.

I'm not trying to hate on you, because you are one of the few hardcore VY supporters to stick around and become something other than a troll, but stop throwing what you perceive to be your weight around.

A lot of people here could have played low-level college football. The point I'm getting at is: who cares.

 

Again, somebody else brings it up and I'm again villafied for it. Will you look who brought it up? I mentioned it in 1 post and now its circulated through this entire board. Good grief, what's the big deal? I'm sure there's other posters who played.

And you say your not "hating" and then you go on to bash the level I played at? I won't go into why I played where I did, or who offered me what because...well its the internet, and it adds nothing to the debate.


This entire thread was started because some poster got all insecure and defensive when I stated I'd rather have VY. Look how long this poll has gone on.
