I didn't say they wanted to play here, I said they are elite and Vince isn't. Think please.

Some of you guys keep posting VY's stats for the few games he played this year and maybe those skewed stats make it look like he was "better" than he had been but he was still inconsistent and bottom line VERY immature! The fact is his body of work is still WELL below average and nowhere near "ELITE" status.

He has a CAREER QB rating of 75.7, a completion percentage of 57.9, and a TD/INT of 42/42.....you know the old saying, even a blind squirrel can find a nut every once in a while, the small sampling of work you guys are quoting can't possible show how bad he really is overall! He only threw the ball 156 times this year and that was probably by design because the staff (and our opponents) know you couldn't count on him to make the right decision on a consistent, regular basis. I think the Steelers game is more of an indication of how far he's come along as an "Elite" QB...lol! Heck, even a rookie like Colt McCoy looked 1000% better against the Steelers than VY.

Look, he's gone and time will prove he's not an elite QB and never will be. Sad thing is some of you guys will still be defending him years from now about how it wasn't his fault, bad coaching, blah, blah, blah!

You do realize that the numbers you gave are better than most QB's at this stage of their career? They are comparable to Troy Aikman and other HOF'er. Heck, His numbers are a lot better than John Elway at this point of his career. Elway had an average of about 62% QB rating vs VY around 69%. Defenses are more complicated now than ever before so if anything, the QB ratings these days are more im pressive than those HOF QB's at the same stage of VYs career. On top of that those QB's had way better coaches than Fisher. Fisher is an idiot, plain and simple.

Also which Colt McCoy game are you talking about the Steelers? 1st one he had a 80% rating and the second one he had a 41% rating. I think what Colt did was incredible but at the same time, I think they game planned to stop the run since they were playing a rookie QB in his first start. The second game is probably a better meter of how Colt would play against the steelers when they game plan for him a little bit. Also the QB ratings are not set up to give you favorable rating for less games or more games you play. They are what they are. If you only play 9 games or you play 16 games, if you average the same amount of TD vs INT and yardage the rating will be the same. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of QB's that didn't get an 80% QB rating or better against the Steelers this year.

Before you or any others dismiss QB rating as a true gage, first you brought up the QB ratings. Second, I trust an organization that put a lot of time for this formula over any knuckleheads that don't like the results so their opinion is that it's useless.

I can't believe people still think Vince is a bad QB. I'm really speechless.

He went from being bashed for his stats to having great stats to people saying his great stats aren't reflective of his performance.

    Humans are irrational

And I can't believe someone would look at two QBs with the equal amount of starts and argue that the one with 4700 less passing yards, 45 less tds, and 23 ratings points lower is the BETTER QB!?!

    People are irrational.

    I am a handsome man.

Self proclamation does not equal the truth.

That is not for VY to decide. It is for the masses to decide over time.

Rodgers has almost cost the Packers the game.

    No TD's and 2 interceptions.

His 1st playoff game he didn't break 200 yards.

Rodgers is no god. He's a very good QB, elite yes, but he's not top 5 in the league.

It's not irrational to argue that a guy with a better QB rating and winning percentage is a better QB. He prob also had a better TD to interception ratio and QB'ed the #1 scoring offense THIS year.

    Not irrational.

haha - I'm sure you were waiting to swoop in on this thread the first time AR didn't have a great game (and I'm sure VY is in that top five to boot) . Announcers pointed out that Rodgers first three years with The Pack were better than any 3 years Favre had with the team. Pretty impressive in my book.
