Re-structure Vince Young's contract? I know there's a 3% chance of that happening but thats our best option. We need to fire Fisher NOW anyway. He may hurt our chances of bringing in any solid veterans.

I wouldn't want to come into a situation where the players don't beleive in the coach and the assistant coaches are bailing.

Vince for Carson? Straight up? That will never happen.

To get Carson I am assuming that since the Owner has taken the stance that he is not willing to move Carson means that the asking price is going to be fairly high.. now here is something we can look at though for future options..

Drop Kerry Collins, Keep Rusty Smith
    Trade for Carson Palmer
Draft a young QB, not necessarily in the first round because Carson could buy this franchise a couple of years to groom a 2nd or 3rd round guy, or hell, even Rusty Smith.

The key this season is to get a proven winner behind Center to make this team a contender on offense, then revamp the defense with the draft and Free Agency. Luckily the team has drafted quite a few intriguing young defensive players such as Verner, Curran, McRath, Marks who could all develop into good players for this team to go along with already proven players.

QB is the only major need at this point!

I am not sold on plamer! He hasn't been the same since he got hurt in that playoff game vs the steelers. I don't think he will ever live up to his hype when he came out of USC. I am not a fan of his leadership skills and quite honestly I think he is a little bit overrated. I know he is still better than some of the other available qb's out there but I would draft a qb, radther than go after this guy

I swear you are looking at a different Bengals team than the one I see.
Marvin's demands? Exactly what did he get? Nothing. He wanted a practice bubble, a larger scouting dept and to get rid of Brat - and he got none of those things. He caved to MB - just like everyone else. This is exactly why Carson wants out.
And as far as Palmer goes - you put him behind solid pass protection and give him a corps of receivers who aren't diva freelancing and more worried about their endzone celebration than the basics and you have a solid QB who will throw some touchdowns.

I keep hearing this parroted all over the place.. Palmer's best season was the season AFTER his injury. His decline was directly related to the decline of the once-great Bengal line ala the retirement of Rich Braham etc.

getting CP is just not economical. He would be asking for way too much. Orton is much more viable.

If we want any chance of making some noise next year we would get Palmer. Big deal we give up a 2nd and maybe another pick but if that means we're set at QB for a while I'm good with it. I'll take a Palmer now then taking a QB with a high draft pick next year over Collins and someone from this draft.

Get Palmer and improve the defense from the draft and free agency. Jason Jones is pretty good, Derrick Morgan will be ready, McRath shows promise, Curran did well in practice and camp, Verner is a keeper, and Griffin was having a very good year till the rest of the defense shut down.

People seem to forget most the team tuned Fish out and took a few weeks off during the season

Fisher is a joke no real players would want to come over here and play after last season.

I bet Britt is looking at 2014 as a chance to get the hell out

Think CJ will want to come back after next year

About Carson dude has been trash since the injury and has four years fifty mill left on his contract

    Too expensive too washed up

Apparently because I'm stunned at the amount of people who want Carson Palmer on this team. It's downright laughable. Carson Palmer is the ultimate hot garbage QB.
