According to several Giants fans I know, the NYG defense after week-5 was an entirely different one than what we saw early in the season. That's good. That means the guy adapts, and improves. Something we desperately need.

I live in NJ so by nature watch the Giants when the Titans are not on... Perry Fewell did a great job with their defense in just one year. He almost completely shut down the most explosive player in the league this year (Vick) on 2 occasions. I know they lost to them right before the playoffs but that was due to the Giants offense giving short fields and soft coverage with a 24 pt lead (you should play soft coverage).

There are two ways you win championships:
    1) Great QB carries you and other pieces are average (Brees/Manning/Brady)
    2) Great defense and strong run game with average QB (Bucs/Ravens/Steelers)

We're most set for option 2 at this point barring striking gold in the draft so love the idea of a defensive minded head coach and CJ in the backfield.

that isn't enough to get a HC job. Teams can turn it around in one yr or fall apart...Titans!!!
