seems to me that this owner and staff wants the oilers back, seems to me that bud adams doesnt,or cant let go of his old houston oilers team, they keep the tradition going with all hires of ex oilers, this is so freaking stupid, wen oilers never won anything, and the nashvillians and the state of tennessee doesnt deserve this, why doesnt this owner take this team and move them to the outskirts of houston, and let tennessee get its own team.i mean look at all these coaches and owners winning superbowls and games

i dont think this is much as bud's doing as it is of munchak's... munch is the one's doing the hiring... while bud's sitting back for the ride

and i believe bud likes it here in tennessee... as i remember it was "his dream" to get a nfl team to nashville...

and when i wrote this i was thinking more of munchak anyways,he played with the name oilers,so imo,he prolly going to get the oilers back together.he may be upset that his old team changed there names to the tennessee titans, and moved.just wish this team and everyone can just move on,like other teams have, likew the chiefs, and other teams and cities that moved and changed there name,u think the oklahoma city thunder and its staff are going to mention or think bout seattle supersonics,or the chiefs think bout the dallas texans.or hire coaches that were connected.

61 years old? Didn't he invent the wishbone?

We better outfit Baptist Sports Park with some Jitterbug phones, Life-Alert bracelets and low sodium snacks.

I don't know who he is. But I'm going to give this staff the benefit of the doubt, until I've seen actual gameplay. Even then, the season could start out rough.

As for his failures at the Browns and Texans, let us not forget- he failed with the BROWNS and TEXANS. Not exactly a goldmine of success for anyone lately.

Keep using that logic. I guess Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson are better than Dan Marino.

seems like this was our last resort... with mike tice and jim grey... it always seemed like it took about 3 or 4 days until something was resolved.... this was resolved in less than a day...

im living in taiwan right now (think EST time +12 hrs) and i went to bed with rumors of who was going to be the OC and i wake up to find someone i have absolutely no clue about get the job...

guess munch was right when he said he'll have all positions filled before the combine... guess he wants to talk things over with the staff
