Yeah, I just think we need to take a D player with our first pick though. If the coaches think he is a franchise type QB and they decide to take him at #8, then I would not have a problem with it. I mean I wouldn't go root for another team like someone else has threatened to do, lol.

I wouldn't mind him in Nashville, but only as a 2nd round pick.

Before the Titans can even consider a QB in the first round. You have to see how they everything pans out with the Wonderlic. No matter what position you need, it seems like taking the best player available is the best decision.

I agree with this, I would much rather take a Dareus or Fairley then take one of the QBs at 8, unless the team, as you said, believes there is a franchise Qb available, you do not wait on those. I could also see a situation where we take the best defensive player available, and then trade back into the first before Seattle if he is still there to get him. That would likely cost our 2011 2nd and 2012 first though, but if it gets us an impact defensive player and a franchise Qb Id be fine with it.

The wonderlic will not be a problem with Locker, he is very smart, and his leadership and work ethic have been compared to Tebow's. Kaerpernick and Ponder will score very well on the wonderlic as well. I believe I read where Kaepernick already took one and scored a 38 on it. The interviews this weekend with the staffs will be more important then the wonderlic tests in my opinion.

I would prefer a situation where we took one of the top two DTs (or Bowers if he is there) in the first, then drafted Locker or Ponder in the 2nd. But if we feel he is the guy, I would take drafting Locker in the first and DT M. Austin (or Panea.. maybe) in the 2nd. then LB in the 3rd

I don't think Locker gets past the Vikings at 12 or at the latest Seattle at 25. If we take a defensive player at 8, we'd have to trade up to get him.

I like him if he can get his accuracy fixed. If we bring in a vet QB like Bulger or McNabb, I think that's the best situation for him so he's not thrown into the fire right away. Learning from a vet could work to his advantage like it did with Rogers.

Could it be because they both played for the Huskies?
