If that is the case, then it'd be an easy decision to cut him.

It seems like he never had much of a chance at the Jets. You aren't going to get a lot of sacks on special teams or the bench. Maybe he needs a fresh start. If that isn't the case, then cut him.

all he needed was ONE forced fumble or sack last season to trigger a 9 MILLION dollar bonus.

So yeah... I think the guy has motivational issues. You are not looking at the next KVB.

Gholston is the defnition of bust.

A bad pick for a 3-4 team in the first place he switched from De to OLB back to DE. In 3 years he had no sacks, no ints and no forced fumbles.

Any comparisons to Babin can stop now. Babin averaged 3.5 sacks a season before coming to the Titans last year. At least there was some inclination that the guy could rush the passer. Gholston is a no show.

A DE version of Chris Henry.

And Jwill's comment that he is better than our linebackers is way off. Our linebackers are not that horrible and all our linebackers had at least one sack each.

From what I read, I think it is a confidence thing with Gholston. I think he could be good for Washburn in Philly, assuming they run something similar to what the Titans have ran...

Seriously, for $9MM, I could get at least one sack! I might be called for jumping offsides 10 times first, but... lol!
