Maybe your loyalty should be questioned considering that you and some others want the worst outcome of this situation.

You are the one that will be rooting for VY over the Titans in the future.

Nobody here that's anti-VY would root against the Titans if he stays as QB, well at least I wouldn't.

What outcome? The one that we move on from the entire Young/Fisher debacle? Check my history I was saying since November that both Young and Fisher needed to hit the bricks.

Will 2011 be a rough year? Yes it will but I have never been under the impersonation that we were contenders in '11 with anyone short of Manning/Brady under center. It is honestly my opinion that it is in the best interest for the team if we move on and start fresh with a new coach and quarterback.

Had they made the decision to keep Young I would have been upset but I would have gutted up and rooted for the Tennessee Titans including VY. I would not have hoped Young would go into any game and played poorly.

You however have just said that you will get some form of pleasure in watching VY beat the Titans. I don't care how long you've rooted for them to me that says you are more loyal to Young then Tennessee. IMO you can go find a new team with all of the displaced Fisher fans.

I don't think you'd have to have rooted against the Titans to appreciate that you were right about Vince in that scenario.

Why get rid of a rising star? VY will give us nightmares whenever we play them. You do know the Texans have never beat him right? USC would never beat the Texans with VY. You know why? Because he has "it". If you played football you'd know what "it" was.

"It"'s what we've never had until recently. And now we're getting rid of one the biggest components for causing "it" to happen.

I warned you Titans fans. If Young is released it's gonna be a dark 3-4 years. I'll remain a fan until death but I'm hoping we make the right decision.

Because Vince's Young's level of insubordination and disrespect was such that a decision was made that they could not tolerate it.

It wasn't a Fisher only decision it involved the GM and the president and was given an ok by the owner. They are not going to change things just because they have a new coach.

Vince went too far and the time and place was absolutely wrong. He could have confronted Fisher personally and he could have demanded a trade after the season was over. To blow up like that in front of the media and management was wrong and they decided it would be wrong to let something like that slide just because of his talent.

I concur. As I said many times, VY had the right to be pissed but it was the wrong place and time. If he would have waited until office hours before blowing up at Fisher, I would have had no problem with that, and I think he'd still be our QB next season.

So.... it looks like we are done here.

I thought there was a chance he could be back with the CBA Bull****. Good luck to VY, he'll no doubt be a starting QB next year.

Jake Locker or Ryan Mallett please.

    :applause:

Furthermore, the organization gave Vince 5 years to "grow up" and behave like a mature professional, a franchise QB, and the team leader we expected drafting him #3 overall.

Franchise QB's, team leaders and professional athletes don't display insubordination and storm out of the locker room. If he continued to display that type of behavior at age 27 then it's improbable he will ever be what we expected in the leadership department.

His problems extended well beyond Fisher. Yes- it was Fisher's time to go, but Fisher didn't put up with his prima-donna and "kit-glove" treatment that Vince was used to receiving.

Many Packers fans were boo-hooing / gloom-and-dooming when the franchise got rid of Favre and he was WAY more productive for them than Vince was for us. Look where they are now.

Im not going to get into the "it" thing because we went over that in the Rodgers vs VY thread....but to say we will have 3-4 dark years b/c VY won't be here is just wrong. We don't have any idea who the QB will be, what we'll do in the draft, or what our offense and defense will look like with the new schemes. I'm sure most Falcons fans thought the same as you when they had to get rid of Vick. They draft Ryan, Vick goes to the Eagles and sits for a year, now both are better off. VY needs to mature, Vick did as well. My point is there are just too many unknowns right now to say that we will struggle for 3-4 years just because we got rid of Vince.
