Favorite 2nd Tier QB

My favorite guy in that second teir has always been Kaepernick, athletic, elite arm, and intelligent. I would be okay with any of the choice between him, Dalton, and Ponder but I in no way shape or form want Ricky Stanzi.

 

I've actually changed on this and have moved Dalton ahead of Ponder. The more I watch of Dalton, I just love his game. I'd be fine with anyone on this list not named Stanzi though.

 

Might be a bit of a stretch to call these guys 2nd tier. As of yesterday, Adam Schefter and Peter King have both come out and said that Ponder and Dalton will be taken in the first round.

 

Ryan Mallett is not a first tier QB, he's a Ken Dorsey.

 

I don't see Ponder as 2nd tier just because he's better than any other QB in this draft.
People liking Kaepernick just shows how little people actually watch games and how much espn has influence.

I can't even begin to explain how bad he is. Might as well draft the best HS prospect.

 

I picked Dalton. When in doubt, take a winner.

Greg McElroy deserves some love here too. Dude had not lost a game as a starter going back to HIGH SCHOOL until this year. Even then his record is preposterous. And his numbers say a lot more than just "game manager."

 

i hope we get somebody 1st-2nd, then Mcelroy or somebody else later on asswell.

 

I like the idea of taking a QB early and then taking someone else later. Like 5th or 6th rounds. A project who might end up being a diamond in the rough.
