Like I said.....just brainstorming. For cheap money and a non-starter commitment, it could work.

    McNo.

I vote Palmer. Palmer has been humbled with cincy bull**** for 10 years, he could be good.

Palmer/McNabb = Too much money now that we have a top 10 pick as QB who'll want $8-10M.

I want Palmer, McNabb, Hasselbeck in that order.

On paper it sounds like a wonderful idea. My thing is... what makes anyone think he'd have any interest whatsoever in "coaching up" Jake? It has been widely reported that Favre put minimal(/no) effort into working with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. Favre is a me-first diva. Even if he act like a "good-ole boy". Add into the mix all the drama that would surely follow Favre's arrival and the idea gets a resounding "No, thank you" from me.

because as Palmer said, we have a new culture at QB now.. i.e. qb's that work, study and set an example for the rest of the team

This is what I wouldn't mind doing. I wouldn't mind us signing McNabb, Palmer, Hasselbeck, or whoever. I also wouldn't mind jettisoning Rusty and trying to sign Dennis Dixon to be the backup if Pittsburgh doesn't keep him.

We don't need a trade for McNabb, he'll be released. Just like the Titans will release VY.

I don't think McNabb will find the Titans interesting. He's going to want some money, and thinks he can start for multiple years I'm sure. As much as I like McNabb, I just don't see him coming to Tennessee.
