i have this feeling before the halfway point of the 2011 season that Locker will be thrown in as starting QB.if this does happen i hope he makes it through without too much trouble.

I think we are better off than many are giving us credit for. We are miles ahead offensively of when VY took over his rookie year. And defensively we aren't that far behind... just alot younger. If we get a couple of nice free agent pickups on D, i think we could be fine.

I don't know if locker can make the impact VY did as a rookie and we are changing schemes somewhat... but i'm liking locker more and more every day. someone compared his numbers in college to brett farves and they are similar but better.... plus he's fast as crap which always helps a rookie QB out when he doesn't know what to do. i just wish i could get some better game tape rather than highlights to evaluate more.

i think we just might surprise some people this upcoming season.the biggest problem the last couple years with this team is lack of leadership and also not finishing a team off once we had them down for the count.seemed like at times we had teams beat we let our foot off the brake and some of this resulted in teams coming back from double digit defecits to beat us.i'll never forget that home game last year against the Texans where we just had them beat and they stormed back and beat us.we were leading by two or three touchdowns but we let up.thats the thing we need to work on and i think we will.the lack of leadership and the teams work ethic will definitely improve.

I'm excited to see the new chapter, I like what I've been hearing about this Locker kid, seems to have good character, strong work ethic and will do what it takes to lead his team and win. Doesn't seem like the type of kid to sit on the sidelines and pout or get taken out of a game because of a stubbed toe! If we can stiffen up the defense and not ask this kid to do too much too early I think we can do pretty good.

refreshing to know this team will no longer be made up of drama queens and cry babys.i think this new coach is getting rid of all the dead weight and people who made things difficult in the locker room.chemistry definitely counts as far as fielding a winning team on the football field.besides talent you also want to make sure you have players who think of the team first instead of themselves.as far as the stupid feud between VY and Fisher goes i think both of those guys were equally responsible in tearing the team apart with the stupid little spat they had going on.glad they are both gone.i loved Fisher and was one of his biggest supporters but it was time for him to leave.he lost the team and his message was getting a bit on the stale side.he was getting too predictable.we definitely need fresh blood and fresh ideas and thats happening now.we might have some growing pains along the way but i am excited about the new direction this team is headed in.better days are coming and i am really excited about it.

I guess its a mutual parting of ways? Has the staff said how they fell about him?

I'll be honest, I'm a huge Titans fan, but I really see us being right back in the top 10 and possibly top 5 of the 2012 Draft. I think we are going to play hard we are just missing key pieces that we need to be a playoff caliber team. Our QB will take some time and I feel like when he is ready (if Jake is the one), the rest of the team will be ready as well. I just hope we are ready for some playoff runs before CJ starts going downhill. Seems like it's going to be a very interesting season and I feel like from what I've heard we are going to be very active in free agency. Hopefully we can land some guys that can come in and contribute right away. I've got faith in the Locker for a few reasons 1.) the kid works hard and loves the game. 2.) Yeah he had a horrible completion percentage in college, but consider these two facts: 66 of his incomplete passes were balls he threw away due to receivers not being open and the other being he has a lot better supporting cast around him now (CJ, O-Line, Decent WR's and TE's) 3.) He will work perfectly with our play action because like everyone is saying he is very accurate outside of the pocket (I know to win a Super Bowl you're QB needs to be able to do both) but this guy will work hard and he has the first one in/last one out mentality. I KNOW he isn't the type of player that will take the money and run. Also, I love the Akeem Ayers addition and the fact that our defense is looking at running 4-3 and 3-4 schemes because teams will now have to be prepared for both fronts and players (Ayers, Ford, McGrath, Jones) moving around with their athleticism and playing different positions and rushing the QB from different places. Also, Munchak is looking at getting CJ into more open space this year unlike last season when Heimerdinger insisted on constantly running him up the middle. In space no one can beat this guy and that's were we need him if we are going to succeed as a team. Like I said I think this season is going to be a tough one, but hopefully we can sign a veteran QB other than Collins to get us through the season because some of his throws in the past have just been UGLY.

I've not seen much in the media about him because everyone knows he's gone. He did say he'd like to stay but I'm thinking that's just lip-service.

Basically, Moss was to step in while Britt was recovering from his hamstring injury. But what happened was the Titans were hurt at QB. Young got hurt followed by Collins. Smith, the #3, threw towards Moss more than either Young or Collins had but didn't see much success. When Collins returned, he wasn't very accurate. Though the Titans had QB issues, Moss really wasn't getting separation. Teams moved the safety over the first couple of games which opened up some room for CJ but that quickly ended once it was obvious the Titans didn't have the QBs or Moss the ability to pose a deep threat.

Britt returned around the time Collins did (though I don't think Collins was ever 100%) and Moss apparently wasn't able or willing to play as the #2. The Titans coaching staff couldn't figure out a way to get a HOF WR on the field at the same time as Britt which, to this day, leaves me scratching my head.
