Where does the blame go for last year?

Everyone is to blame. The coaching staff for overestimating the talent they had, the front office for going along with it and the players for under performing.

In reality, does it matter at this point though? This franchise has started over.

 

#1 - Chuck Cecil
#2 - Jeff Fishers stubornness
#3 - Up and down QB play
#4 - Injuries in general
#5 - Chris Hope
#6 - Interior OL

 

To be honest, Fisher is the brunt of this, with VY taking a healthy share. A sort of unknown party-pooper last season was Chris Hope.

Anyone else remember that story that Fisher wanted to start Schommer in those end games but Hope refused? That's not gonna fly with Munch I'd like to think.

 

I think we got all the distractions out of there, next season we can focus on goals and players can go back to focusing on their personal game, instead of slacking cause they are mad at Fisher for benching VY or killing Cj etc..... Things are going to get much better down the road. Titans are like Ok players, we got rid of Fisher and Cecil, now lets see some production you have no more reasons to cry or half a@@ your job, everyone will be held accountable for their production.

 

everyone had a part in it... Once the coaches saw what to do.. we were screwed... the offense didn't stay on the field that long, which led to the other side holding on to the football longer, which led to our defense getting tired and getting hurt, which cecil played a part in because he never changed the scheme, which coaches caught and used to their advantage.. VY and fisher was pretty much the tip of the iceberg in terms of how crappy we played...

all a big run on sentence... but that's pretty much how the second half went.... a big run on/rerun of the same thing over and over and over....

 

Great thread. I say we leave last year in the rear view. Fishbag is gone, Vince is gone, Dinger is gone, Cecil is gone.

Coach Munchak is showing that he's gonna be his own man and that is just what we need. Fisher did things his way but in doing that he stayed loyal to players that didn't deserve it and it cost us wins. I don't see that happening under Coach Munchak. I really believe that he's gonna put the best team out on the field every Sunday and if guys aren't giving their all they won't play. And that's the way it should be.

We've got a team of really good players and with strong direction we can be a very good team and win a lot of ball games.

I'm gonna make a bold prediction and say that we turn around from 6-10 to 10-6. And it all starts with a W over Jax in the opener. Hell we might even do better than that and win the division.

#2 Small defensive line was deficient against the run, and pass
#3 Cecil was in over his head
#4 Fisher was burned out
#5 Poor linebacking

me neither... that doesn't sound like fisher at all.... we know that fisher lives and dies by his vets... even if they're sucking big time... look how long it took britt to be a starter >_>
