    Talk about a meaningless quote.

That whole story means nothing. It's just filler. There's been a lot of that lately, which is obviously not surprising because nothing is happening due to the lockout.

Hasselbeck is a smart guy. He'll have his people make it sound like he wants to go back to Seattle because it will increase his market value. Maybe he will go back, but we won't know until free agency actually begins. All these reports that say nothing are pretty meaningless.

i'm trying to think of some names no one has mentioned or some that have maybe barely been mentioned...

Mark Brunnell? Bret Favre? Jeff Garcia?

i dont really care who we get, Locker will be the QB before the season is over anyways. whats the points in debating a 10-12 game QB?

i do feel like he will get thrown in there sometime next season for some reason.either due to poor play or injury to the starter.just wonder if him getting thrown in sooner rather than later would be a good or bad idea.

depends the QB, some guys like VY couldnt catch on quick enough. and then you have guys like Flacco,Ryan etc... that can learn on the fly.

I still don't see how we can get Hassleback. He may have said something here or there to make other teams try to sign him but I think that's just him leveraging his negotiating position with the SeaHawks.

Billy Volek looks more and more like a lock but I still think Bruce Gradkowski is worth considering. Supposedly Gradkowski is being caused by the Steelers which makes sense since he's a hometown boy. Collins seems like a fall back, last resort option and even then he would just be something like technical support. I am not sure Kerry is up to starting anymore. He was injured last year so if he is healed now maybe I am wrong about that but I just don't see him really staring much this year.

At this point i'll take Gradkowsi,Volek,Orton, etc. ,Not sure if i'm the only one who thinks this but i just don't see Collins playing well if he comes back.Very painful to see all the three and outs last season and we were dead last in league in time of possession.

It is good to see that the Titans fans still have a since of humor about the whole situation. But I really believe that Billy Volek can get the job done quite admirably. He deserves a chance back in Tennessee. I would like to see him prove Jeff Fischer was a fool for letting him go.
