Kenny Britt in Trouble (again)

This is looking more and more like Pacman II as time goes by.Whats happening is he is real young and hanging out with the wrong crowd of people.Best thing for him to do is get his to Nashville like he should've done weeks ago.Ironically if it weren't for this lockout he might've never gotten in trouble so besides preparation i think the lockout has hurt us more than any other team.

 

Exactly. The more and more he gets away with this stuff (or gets off with just a slap on the wrist), the more untouchable he's going to feel.

 

6 arrests in 3 years for Britt, although they are all for relatively minor stuff (driving infractions, resisting arrest, marijuana and a bar fight). I don't think he's at the Pacman level yet, since there was fairly convincing evidence that Pacman tried to have a guy killed. He still has plenty of time to make it there, though.

 

Hard to defend the guy but it's also not good to assume that he is guilty of any serious wrongdoing.

That said, we still need to send him to the bottom of the depth chart and bring in a legit #1 WR. Steve Smith, Santana Moss, Santonio Holmes all come to mind. Having an explosive home run hitting WR will help Jake out a lot. The main thing that comes out of all this is that Kenny can't be relied upon. He might be suspended by the league and he might even end up doing time. Looking more and more like wasted talent just like Pacman. That's sad if you ask me.

If Britt was training at Father Ryan instead of jerking around in New Jersey, this wouldn't have ever happened. The guy is SO dumb and immature.

 

Good thing his legal troubles aren't as bad as some of us might have thought. I was thinking he was looking at jail time, maybe this won't be enough for the league to be able to suspend him. I still think we need to look at getting a #1 WR though.

From now on, let me start these Kenny Britt threads. You guys always talk about jail time with this kid, but nothing he's ever done warrants jail time. Either you guys hate Kenny, or you just don't know how things work in America.
