He was caught a lot by LBs that had the same angles they had the season prior- but then he'd blow you away by somehow beating them down the sideline. He didnt have that last season. Everyone that looked as if they'd catch him, did.

They're never going to give him anything close to what he's looking for.

800k is friggin silly for someone of CJ's calibur. Comeone people, its not like he's still a rookie trying to prove himself. Not to mention that the lifespan of elitness of a RB is considerably lower than almost any other position, so I really don't blame him for trying to make a few million while at his prime. He'll have a boat load of 800k seasons to go after he starts missing a step or two.

    This guy LMAO

Chris Johnson is top 2 RBs in the league. Defenses stacked 8 and 9 in the box to stop him last year and he still managed being #4 in rushing. How is it not impressive finishing in the top 5 in rushing? He finished 8th his rookie year 1st in 09 and 4th in 2010. He had a GREAT O line in 09 and the absence of Kevin Mawae was a big factor. He suffered from a poor line and also no other offensive help around him.

It seems like the people who would rather trade him are the ones that expected him to do that every year. Stats don't lie. EVERY back that had 2000 yards dropped off a lot the next year.

IDK what you expect from him. CJ has had the most yards in the NFL than anyone else in the 3 years hes played/

Prove they were the same angles. Were you there in their shoes making the tackle?

do you have any idea how NFL contracts work?

his BASE is $800k he has already recieved $m's in signing bonus money for 2011 and beyond and those $s count against the CAP.

Ouch. Who mentioned bonus when we're discussing base for 2011?

Didn't CJ already collect his bonus in 2010 and was it not something like 1.5mil.. i can't recall exactly. Again, 800k for 2012 is lower than what a mediocre RB deserves, let alone it being one of the best in the league.

what part of hes already recieved his bonus are you refusing to credit to 2011?

Johnson has already cashed most of his pay for 2011 and if he was not satisfied with $800k base he should NOT have signed his contract extension and cahsed his bonus check.

he needs to show up and shut up.
