From the limited time we saw Jared Cook in games very rarely did he line up as a tightend. The few times he did line up as a tightend he would get someone killed in the back field. Unfortunately the guy can't block.

Maybe he is bulking up this off-season and learning how to block with the linemen. If I were his agent that's all I would have him do this off-season.

If used correctly he absolutely can be a weapon, but in order to be on the field consistently he will need to learn to block.

Don't feel like responding to this.

Our coaching sucked the past 2 years. We have the talent to compete.

    Lol!

The above is a response. So in your response of a non-response you still praised the players and threw the coaches under the bus.

On what do you base your claim the coaching sucked the last 2 years while the players are talented?

I'd give the edge to crappy coaching since Cecil was brain dead and obviously a problem. Dinger coming down with Cancer didn't help things last year either especially when the QB situation got so desperate Rusty had to play in the Washington game and start the Houston game (two games maybe we have a shot at winning if we have a healthy QB for the whole game).

The team did go 5-2 at one point last year. They had the talent to do that despite Cecil on defense and the OL under performing. Down the stretch the team managed to get revenge on Houston by beating them pretty good and they lost to the Colts twice by a total of 5 points. Certainly with a few adjustments with the personnel and with better coaching things could have been much better. Injuries had as much to do with the down fall as anything anyway. The team nose dived when Britt went down and Brown was crippled when he did play. Ball started out the first half of the season with 7 sacks and didn't get another the rest of the year.

Who thinks the Lions could win more games than the Titans?

i think Mr Jim is going to build one heck of a defense. When do we play them again? i would like to see how Locker does against Suh,Fairly and KVB
