"Hey just for fun, ask them whatever ever happened to Vince's wonderful receiving core.

Also, they need to go look at any of the top quarterbacks in the league. Either you get two or three years to sit and learn and do better in your first season as the starter or you basically suck the first two or three years before you actually see real improvement. Even this whole "throwing more ints then tds in your second season means Vince is a bust" is silly. Favre has done it(third season). Elway has done it twice within his first three seasons. Rothesliberger has done it (third season). Peyton has done it (first season). Drew Brees did it (third season). Kerry Collins did it four times in his first five seasons. Steve Young did it (second season)."

CJ you can keep quoting bogus reports all you want. VY is not elite. Period. You have done nothing to refute my argument. You pulling up an article regarding 1 stat and saying that you have refuted my argument is elementary school logic.

He is a puss that can't stay on the field. He wasn't elite last year. Period. He is not better or as good as Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, etc. You wishing for it doesn't make it so.

He doesn't beat good teams, gets hurt and acts like a crybaby pretty much every game, has quit on his team on more than 1 occasion and had to be essentially forced back onto the field several times in his career, doesn't know the playbook, makes the wrongs calls, isn't trusted to audible, has a bad work ethic, and is lazy.

Yet you support him. So we can gather either you're his girlfriend, his family,a Texas alum/fan, or you have a gay man crush on him. No one who thinks logically would go to the extremes to defend this PoS that you do. He is not that great of a QB.

    He is just wasted potential.

Haven't we already covered that point? Your emotional rants come off just as that. You hate the guy, we get it.

You know who your acting like? His bitter ex girlfriend.

Sorry if the truth hurts, but I'm not emotional about it in the least. Way to try to project things on to me.

I don't hate the guy. Stop acting like some dumb child. Not everything is black or white, your either/or thinking is downright stupid.

I wanted the guy to succeed. That meant the Titans succeeded. I didn't want him to fail because that hurt the Titans.

Sorry, I call it how things are. Not how I want things to be. If things went how I wanted he would have won the superbowl, passed for 4000 yards, rushed for 1000 yards and dominated like he did, at times, in college.

The Titans wasted a lot of time and money on him.

Stop making excuses for him. That has been his problem his entire career, he didn't face adversity in sports growing up and was never humbled that is why he contemplated retirement after his rookie year. Always being given things or have everything changed to fit him perfectly instead of him adapting to anything. He is the quintessential spoiled child/athlete.

Another emotional post. As if you knew him. Sorry, you don't know the guy.

Not even gonna respond to you. How do you feel? A little more emotional?

Rookie of the year. Very good passer rating, TD/INT rating, YPA, and PPG his last year.

    Nuff said.

    http://www.thefreedictionary.com/CORE

Core a number of people or objects that form the centre or main part of a group, organization, or society; players in a curling match; miners in one shift, hence, core of people, 1622.

    Core is certainly applicable.

The term is "receiving corps". Never heard of a "receiving core".
    Nice try though.
You're = you are. "Your" refers to possessive. Just a tip.

When you don't have an argument. Try playing Endglish teacher  At least offer a rebuttal to the point. Has Vince ever had a solid receiving "corps?"

    From a friend

"I would love to know how Vince wasn't moving the chains now since we now know he was excellent on third downs.

People just make up stuff now about the guy. Like he is the reason our line played bad. It was bad with Collins too. Do people ever stop and realize we lost pro-bowl center and shuffled around half the line. You just can't plug in unknowns and a new inexperienced center and expect great results. It takes years to gain the necessary experience to call line plays and form chemistry with the line.

Look, the reason why we lost so many games is due to stubbornness. We just kept running CJ straight up the middle, again and again and again. This with BOTH young and collins. It was like the coaches were oblivious to the fact CJ wasn't getting the necessary production to continue being conservative and use the primarily the run game. Our defense wasn't anywhere close to where it needed to be to stick with the conservative route. The stubbornness made us continue to just sticking a linebacker on tightends like Gates. You aren't going to win like that. We allowed longer drives than ANYONE in the league, which basically killed any advantage in field position even with a good return game. Couple that with the fact we were horrible on stopping people on third down, inconsistent run game, and we couldn't control the clock. If anything, they should have put Vince in the shotgun and told him to go to work. The type of talent we had dictated to a more open offense, not a conservative one.

Is it far-fetched that Fisher's stubbornness is what ultimately got him fired and his stubbornness to not be flexible destroy his relationship with a quarterback he has gone public numerous times he didn't want to draft and disagreed with starting him in 2009? Is Vince a prima donna? Yes, but so is the majority of the NFL and major sports in general. That includes coaches. Fisher's main job first and foremost is to manage the 53 different personalities on that team. Not everyone is going to get along in a locker room and nobody is the sole leader on any NFL team. You have to put aside personal disputes to get a win on Sunday. Vince was wronged in how he acted, but it's not uncommon to see people get pissed. Ever watch baseball? People get pissed in the dugout, cuss out their coach, and break stuff. Football is more emotional. If you honestly think no one has cussed out their coach in front of a team then you are oblivious to football. Retired players talk about it all the time. Hell watch Rex Ryan on Hard Knocks. Think he "watches his tongue" when he gets pissed at a player? James Harrison broke the golden rule of keeping things in house. Fisher has done the same.....numerous times. Combine that with stubbornness and yes it falls on Fisher. There were numerous reports that Vince was dramatically changing the way he was preparing and approaching the game. What was Fisher changing?

Btw, ask Elway about players going over their coach......."

I get it that some of you hate Vince. And from the perspective of a fan, it can be justified. But lets be rational.

    What is an Endglish teacher?
I wasn't debating the WR situation but since you seem to be asking me directly, he's had average receivers. Though he's had his share of opportunity to help them improve. Just about got Gage killed. Rarely looked towards Britt. Dumped most of his passes to TEs regardless of whoever he had at receiver.
WRs were not VY's problem. VY was VY's problem. That's why he's GONZO!
