    This is silly.

That's the type of money you would give a guy like Matt Schaub... Guys that have actually started more than 4 games.

And to give up one of your best defenders in the process... Flat out moronic. If I wanted Kolb, I would've offered a 2nd round pick and nothing else. Then pay him less than half of what the Cardinals are paying him.

Arizona drank the Kool-Aid here, how stupid!

    Kolb is ridiculously overrated, suckers!

Why oh why can can we never find teams dumb enough to make trades like this with us?

    A. Great marketing campaign by the Eagles.
    B. The Cardinals are dumb enough to listen to the media Campaign and then believe it. Don't they have people who can come up with their own offers. Hate when teams or coaches listen to the press and make decisions based on that information ( see Jeff Fisher ).
    C. The Eagles will get to the playoffs every year, but I do not think Vick can win the superbowl. He was playing at a high level, and still could not push them over the top, somethings not quite right there. But I admire their committment to Vick.
    D. Kolb will excel in Arizona, but still not worth what they gave up.

Extremely expensive pickup by Arizona. I don't think Kolb is their "QB of the future" either. Saw Kolb play live last year in Nashville, and we dominated him. Our D wasn't stellar, either. I think they would have been better off going with Orton or even Vince Young this year, and if they happen to lose this year, they aim for Luck in the draft next year.

I think Vick gives them a much better chance of a Super Bowl then Kolb could. That something that wasn't right in Philly was the oline and defense. Fix up those 2 and that's a scary team.

LOL, Arizona got hosed. I'm glad the Niners won't have to face DRC twice a year anymore.

Didn't Kolb destroy you guys on MNF a few years back?

Only time will tell if the Cards got a good deal. Obviously there is some risk there but they get Kolb for a season before they give up the draft pick so that factors into it.

DRC is not a top shelf CB he is very inconsistent. Still an upgrade for Philly over the guys they used last year opposite Samuels which is the point for them.

There is always some risk when you trade away a younger QB and decide to go with a 31 year old guy who relies on his legs and does get hurt from time to time.

The cards are looking at Kolb much the same way the Texans looked at Shaub. They think he is a franchise QB. Again time will tell if they made a mistake or not.

Arizona just crippled their franchise for a good while...
