2011 NFL Free Agency Thread

Donte Whitner is a fast safety, he hits hard and was a defensive captain. He possesses the quality leadership abilities that Hope would leave behind. Last season he had 140 tackles, 0.5 sacks and 1 interception. I personally think he would be quite a good upgrade at the position.

 

Sounds like a good fit.

So why aren't more teams interested in him?

 

We just need a few things now:

To sign a FB. Hall would be nice to have back, or a cheap option as well. FBs don't need to make bank. It would be nice to find a young FB who can block for cheap.

SS is still a concern. Either cut Hope, or rework his deal for about 3 mil cheaper. Not a ton of options in the market now, but Hope doesn't deserve that type of money.

WR, id like Derrick Mason to sign a 2 year deal with the Titans.

DT: One more DT might be nice for additional depth. Marks and Haye have done nothing the last couple of years and Casey is unproven. Has Tommie Harris signed anywhere?

Brodrick Bunkley decided not to show up to Cleveland after he was traded from Philly... voids the trade and now he's shipped to Denver. Wonder how that works??

I'm dying to hear some news on Mason, Edwards, and Goldson....especially D Mase...would LOVE to see him back

 

Why do so many want Mason back? All he did was talk **** about the Titans and didn't he flip off some fans or something?
