Jack's is the best bbq in town IMO, i like the one on Trinity Ln much better than the downtown one but they have the same food.

I concur with the guy who mentioned Demo's downtown, its the best affordable food downtown. you're going to get a better steak at a fancier place but its going to cost you an arm and a leg as well. Besides how many places can you get a steak, spaghetti, and soup for $15 or under?

thanks for the information guys, I was camping all weekend so I never got a chance to read any of this until now. If Jack's comes highly recommended then I'll definitely try them out, bbq is my thing so I might give it a little review lol.

@Chapparal - my boys are 7 and 5. My oldest is a BIG time fan, he's my Titan-buddy for life. My youngest one is on the fence with being a Titans fan, my wife is a big time Cleveland girl and she desparately wants at least one son to a Browns fan with her... he says he likes both teams, but if he goes to the game he will definitely be a Titans fan the rest of his life!!.. period.

Reason I ask, little kids may only have a certain attention span for football. There's a couple cool places for you to take the boys.........

    Adventure Science Center - http://www.adventuresci.com/
Imaginareum Childrens adventure museum - http://www.trekaroo.com/activities/imaginarium-childrens-adventure-museum-nashville-tennessee

also, August is pretty hot, make sure the hotel has a pool or take a visit to Nashville Shores - http://www.nashvilleshores.com/

If downtown, restaurants my 8 year old and her friends always enjoy are Joe's Crab Shack or Spaghetti Factory. Lots of other good spots too, just depends on where youare staying.
