Edwards does have a lot of drops, but again... would you rather have: Washington & Gage or Edwards?

I choose Edwards.

Washington & Gage = 62 catches, 953 yards, 7 TDs
Edwards = 53 catches, 904 yards, 7 TDs

 

It seems to me like we don't have the money to sign anyone else but CJ at this point. Edwards will not be a Titan and I'm perfectly fine with that.

We have 1 other WR on our team as good as Braylon.



And he has hamstring issues. Acting like he wouldnt be an instant MAJOR upgrade over any other WR on our team is just silly.

Nate Washington is our #2 WR....okay if that doesn't scare you then either 1. You just hate Edwards or 2. You just love Washington

 

Adam Schefter reporting Edwards is meeting tonight with 49ers and may sign a 1 year deal.


Stupid stuff like this makes me mad. Why not take a chance on a 1 yr deal with a decent receiver. Just like were too good to trade a 2 for Albert, but we can trade a 2 for a 3rd round pick.

 

Don't waste a signing on any WR. There will be those in the draft next year. Our core is fine. If you sign ANYONE at this point, it HAS to be a DB, with the injury to Mouton and the need for a safety anyway.
