I like the 3 young LBs we have: McRath, Ayers and Curran. If McRath and Ayers are about even after the pre-season, I think McRath gets the nod, but I hope we still get to see a bunch of Ayers (pretty sure we will).

 

Curran is pretty small for a LB, isn't he?

 

Yep. Apparently he's been doing decent in pass coverage despite being 5'11". His nickname is actually "muscle leprechaun." Because of how ridiculously ripped he is for how small he is. The guy is like a ball of muscle.

 

I agree with your status Bababooey. I think we quietly had one of the best drafts; everyone is overlooking the draft we had.

I agree that this was a vague reference....but those of us from MO pride ourselves in being from the "Show Me" state....I believe what I see, not hear, especially when it comes to preseason propaganda.

 

Ah, got ya. Makes sense. I reserve true judgment until we play Minnesota and we see these guys against opposition.

If they just cut down on the offside penalties I will be happy. And maybe get off the field on 3rd down for a change.

True, but these comments did come from Finnegan. Not your average "feel good propaganda" guy. He tells it how it is! At least how he feels

Just look at his comments about Hasselbeck a few weeks back lol.

My guess is he actually feels this good about the defense.
