Wait...what? CJ is the only playmaker to wear a Titans Jersey since Haynesworth.... CJ is among the best playmakers in the league, not just this team. Sure, all those other dudes might have a breakout season. If Britt stayed healthy last year he would have had 1,000 yards. Hasselbeck may air it out this year. Mights, mays, and ifs are cool and all, but CJ HAS been ballin' since the second he landed in Nashville.

No doubt about it, he's the heart of this offense and we DEFINITELY need him. If you think Hasselbeck will have a successful year without CJ in that back field then you're crazy, man.

Ravens: Trent Dilfer and Jamal Lewis

Not Super Bowl champs, but NFC Champs: Seattle: Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander is also worth noting...

He is the heartbeat of our offense, but I don't think we need him. We do have other RBs. CJ ticked me off a ton last year, looking for the big run every single time..I could go on.

He is the most dynamic player on our team and top 3 RB in this league so I def want him to stay a Titan, but if he forced us to trade him I wouldn't lose any sleep. He is all that, but I don't know if he is the bag of chips as well. I'd be fine with Ringer, Johnson and Harper.

Obviously if we traded him we'd get a decent RB in return.

Good RB, hopefully a 1st, and another pick would be good.

So now that the CBA is ratified and he has his grace period of 1 day to miss practice, any chance you guys think he will come in soon? He simply wasn't loseing anything while not being fined, but Saturday he starts taking on $30k a day. With the salary he made last year, he's going to take big hits for everyday he misses.

The fines aren't going to make a difference.

yep he will be in Nashville before he loses 100K imo. he cant afford it like Haynesworth or someone. Titans have the leverage in this.

    Lets get one thing straight.

CJ will be the fastest RB in the league (who actually plays) for probably the next 5-7 years.

Warrick Dunn was a very shifty, quick RB who had a long career in the league and was under 200lbs. So to say that CJ will all of a sudden become ineffective because he's running a 4.3 instead of a 4.2 is a little naive.

CJ game is more than just pure speed.
