Oh I know teams want him... I understand he is a great running back, but some things need to change in the NFL and this should have been one of the things dealt with in the new CBA.

Seattle had a guy that held out every year and missed every training camp and all the pre season games because he decided that he was worth an extra 500k

So did CJ become a blocker over night or what? He had more receiving yards than CJ last year. That's the only aspect? You're more of a blind homer than I thought. You see when people see CJ making a big run they think "well he's the best look at all his yards". Well maybe if CJ wasn't looking for that run the entire game and just takes what the OL gives him he would not only help the team but would also have more yards. So many times last year did he run away from the whole and try and kick it outside and get nothing.

Trading away the face of your franchise is not that hard? The reason we haven't just called those teams is because everyone within this organization knows that any success we may have a chance at relies upon CJ in the backfield. Our offense would be totally stagnant without the playfake to CJ. He averages a first down every 2 carries for his career...

This is so dumb. I hated hearing about how the Titans were such a cheap team and how we're never going to get any big free agents to play here because we're not willing to pay them as much as other teams will. This just proves how cheap the Titans really are.

IMO the face of the franchise is Jake Locker. I would rather build around him than give out a ton of money to a RB, a position not that valuable. We're not going anywhere for a while so it makes no sense to have all this money tied up into one player when we're not winning games. It's going to be at least two years until we're legit contenders. If a team called me up and said a 1st, 2nd, and a player for CJ I would take that. Hello Trent Richardson and a new SS in the draft then with all that extra money in free agency go fix the rest of the team.

The reason why the Panthers aren't that good of an organization is because they just gave this big deal to DW when they're not even going to be relevant for at least 3 years (depending on progress of Newton). So instead of getting more help for that team they're going to have money tied up in a RB.

Now that's the reason why I said call up the 10 teams, I don't think CJ is a player you can't trade because every player has a right price. I would love to have CJ back but if he doesn't show up what can ya do? If he sits out the season then everyone will be like "we should've traded him before the season so we could get some value for him".

You see how far ap gets his team without the right qb and coaches. Cj is just a part of the team not the heart.

Yea, I forgot, AP carried that crappy QB Favre to the conf. finals in the year Favre had an MVP-like year. It's not like he fumbled a bunch of times in that game to help make sure his team didn't reach the finals.

And last year when the Vikings had bad QB play, AP really carried his team deep into the playoffs without qb & coaching

you guys problem is you want to see CJ get 2000 yards more than you care about the rest of our team improving, you rather know we have a top 2 RB then to make the playoffs. most of you only care about CJ and his stats. how many of you will watch the titans if CJ doesnt play? yeah cj is cool to have to impress your friends. but real titans fans want to see the team improve not break the bank for CJ so you all can get gitty when he touches the ball.

At least Peterson didn't walk himself to the sidelines like a little girl in the playoffs due to being scared.

Had it not been for that instance, I may go easier on CJ- but I'm sorry. Dude is a coward with no heart.

Nothing I hate more than players being scared or ducking out of bounds to avoid contact from a DB when they could have gotten 5 more yards. Both are trademarks of Chris Johnson.

I'm just assuming, based on your stance here, that you would have the same things to say about Barry Sanders, right?

After all, the Lions more or less sucked the entire time Barry played with them. He has more negative rushing yards then any player in NFL history (because he OLine sucked, much like ours). They never made it to the promised land with Barry. So really, he was just a potential weapon that never got used properly, right? An expendable player who never produced the 'big game Ws', right?
