I don't think people get on them for trolling. More like their opinions. If you look at their history, they usually come on here to stir things up. They enjoy it.

I was most impressed by Hawkins. That guy is playing his tail off to make the team. Not only did he have several good catches, but he was also manhandling DBs on run plays. He gave great effort in blocking, and it resulted in some big plays for us.

McCourty made a beautiful play on the deep ball that was thrown his way. Perfectly defended.

I thought some of the big boys on the defensive line were standing up at the snap, but despite that they were still immovable. With a few more weeks of practice and conditioning, they should be able to get their pad level lower and really do some damage.

I thought Ringer looked really good. He was patient, hit the open holes, and then blew through them. The fumbled handoff was a preseason thing. Harper needs to get north and south, but I was really impressed by his quickness. He fell into the old rookie trap of "I can outrun everybody", but I imagine that he won't make the same mistake in the future.

Really glad to see us pull out the win, even if it was the preseason.

It was a little strange for me seeing Matt Hasselbeck running the Titans offense; but he brought that same intensity as he did through the past several years in Seattle. The guy is intensely competitive and used to pushing the tempo. In Seattle he also became accustomed to using the passing game to set up the running game; and it seemed like Chris Palmer let some of that happen when Hasselbeck was in the game. So a decent showing by Hasselbeck during his limited play (maybe a B/B+), and the same for Chris Palmer's play calling based on what Titan fans have said about past seasons under different OCs.

I was glad that Jake Locker had a decent game (grade B I would say). His arm strength and athleticism were on display; and he showed good poise. It seems to me that he's still learning a basic command of offensive schemes and basic defensive reads. I don't think he's ready to be a starter-- he'll learn a lot from Hasselbeck this year. The difference between him being a serviceable or premium future pro quarterback-- the next two years seem crucial to me in determining that. He has the attitude necessary to turn that corner; but getting the chance to absorb the mental improvement in bite-sized chunks will let him integrate the mental and physical in more manageable ways than at UW.

The O-line seemed solid (grade B+), and the D-line the same. Casey and especially Klug seemed to play very well for rookies (B and A-). Have to give Babineaux a B+ for the pick. Ayers also seemed to stand out (B+/A-).

Loved the diving catch on the opening drive-- was it Hawkins? And Jared Cook seems to bringing his A with a capital A game. Didn't see much of the second half, and am probably forgetting some of the highlights from the first half. Oh, and Ringer looked solid (B/B+), the best of the RBs last night.

Nice win by the Titans. Can't help but wonder what the offense might be able to do with CJ and Britt added to the mix and creating match up problems, Cook creating more of them, and Hass having time to utilize each hopefully like a surgeon with different scalpels at his disposal. Congrats to the Titans, ready to make some noise and shake things up in the AFC South!
