Why does the RB have to be the "main" reason a team wins a SB. Can't he be just one of the reasons? Why does everything have to be so black and white, all or nothing.

Take Corey Dillon's 1600+ yard season in 2004 that helped lead the Pats to a 14-2 regular season record and eventually a SB win. Are we really going to try and argue a guy running for 1600+ yards and 12 TDs didn't help in a big way? :sad2:

Teams win SBs in a variety of ways. How many SBs have the Pats won recently since they seem to be everyone's poster child on how to get it done? Better yet, when was the last time the Pats won a playoff game? I thought Tom Brady meant a sure path to the SB. Maybe the Pats need a guy like Dillon back in there as a feature RB.

I read this article on bleacher report (yea, dont place too much stock) but they were talking about how if CJ continues to hold out since we wont discuss negotiations til he comes to camp, that he could possibly be traded.

Hypothetically, what would you wanna see in return if that were to happen. They were talking about a couple 1st RD draft picks but I would want way more than t?at.

Wyatt reports nothing will be sent to CJ's agent until CJ reports. Whether you come down on the side of the Titans who feel CJ needs to come to town with hat in hand since he's getting new money while under contract or CJ's who feels his only leverage is staying away from camp, at some point Munch is the one getting screwed along with the fans if this doesn't get worked out.

Both sides need to feel some pressure to get it done, IMO.

Cj is already on the trade insider block....the bills are unloading players for a reason. Mike isnt putting up with cj's nonsence. I give cj 2 more preseason games before it gets ugly for the fans.

i bet some team would....at leasts 2 firsts for cj plus a decent back....cj has maybe 3-4 years left in him after the beating he took the past year....get a actual everydown back in the draft--richardson is gonna be a day 1 starter for whoever he goes to...hope its just us as i think he is more of a hard work type and not be a diva like cj

I love CJ but this is business, if this continues he's heading for the Trading Block.

If Buffalo offers 2012(likely to be high) 1st and 2nd, 2012 2nd and CJ Spiller. I'm taking it.

Can't see CJ being a Titan this season

I've been trying to avoid the thought for a while now but I'm pretty sold his time here is done. Just doesn't add up for me.

Seems like the Titans haven't even reached out to CJ besides the childish PR statements they have made such as "you have to come to camp first or else were not paying you"

There is absolutely no reason for CJ to be in camp to resign him long term, no reason at all. And to think we promised him last season we would give him the big contract, you can't help but look at our front office as a bunch of liars.

CJ did exactly what the titans asked of him and took the pay increase and showed up to camp last year, and for us to not hold up our end of the bargain for some immature demand that he show up to camp first is a little puzzling.

Can't think of any other reason we wouldn't have at least put an offer together yet but the idea that we are waiting for him to demand a trade, or sit out the entire season, whichever comes first.

I think the titans realize Runningbacks are a dime a dozen and it might not be the smartest move to make CJ the highest paid runningback in NFL history and are waiting for him to make the next move (demand a trade, or play for the scrub contract he has) so they can save face in the fans eyes and with the media when we do eventually and unfortunately trade him.

If Reinfieldt were honestly ready to pay the man, he would do so or at least have began talks. Nothing has started and nothing will be started. CJ Will not play another game for the Titans. <- my bold prediction
