anyone who thinks CJ doesn't contribute to our wins or Eddie was a better player than CJ is just biased, and I can guarantee they are over the age of 30

I'm 24, and I don't think CJ is the most important person on this team to lead us to wins that matter (Playoffs, Super Bowl). Sure he "contributes" but EVERYONE "contributes", don't they?

If we didn't have the offensive line that we do CJ wouldn't have the play breaking ability that he does. He's got the speed, don't get me wrong, but if he gets hit in the backfield it's tough for him to get away, at least until he hits his top speed.

Your delusional if you think you can get anywhere near 2000 yards by just being force fed and not account for any wins.

The 230 yard game against Jacksonville where he went back and fourth with Mo Jones Drew?

The following week where he lit up San Fran for 135 and had the biggest first down of the game late when it looked like he was stopped in the backfield on 3rd down.

On MNF against Houston where he ran circles around Brian Cushing?

OT Game against Miami where he had 160 Total yards? Are we in that game without CJ?

His rookie year when we beat PIT for homefield advantage, he didn't impact that game?

Oh and in the game where Fisher allegedely threw it in and "force fed" CJ the ball for 2000, we won, imagine that.

You think we win any of those games without CJ? The dude is definitely important to the Titans, period.

Is he worth 13 mil? No. And thats exactly why he won't play another down for Tennessee. Damn shame too because he is definitely better than EG and arguably the best runningback to ever suit up for this franchise.

he led the league in yards after contact...

Some of you amaze me with how you think elite runningbacks grow on trees or something..

He outplayed it. The Titans cut players all the time that are under contract, wheres the respect on their end?

If CJ plays through his current contract, tears his ACL and can't play at a high level again, how much respect is his contract going to get then, zero?

Stop making CJ the villain, he's doing what any smart player and every good smart player has done in the past, getting his because he knows once he can't hit 5th gear and the titans have used him up they'll show zero respect for any contract he has...

For this Franchise (as in Tennessee) he is definitely #1 or 2. Which is not saying an incredible amount about him, considering we've had only George, C Brown, Henry, White, and he as full-time starters. If you're counting Oilers, Campbell was better than EG and CJ.

We also saw his YPC average drop 1.3 yards after that record breaking season.

He's picking the wrong year to hold out. His value will never be more than it was in early 2010. His shine has dulled a bit, but undoubtedly he's one of the best out there.

So you're saying if we had one of the league's worst offensive lines, CJ would be just as good. Our line will be much better this year and our O-line does deserve credit, one of the best tackle tandems in the league.

2 years ago yes he did, talking more about last year. He went down in the backfield many times.

Obviously elite running backs don't grow on trees ....... There are 2 in the league right now.

Mawae was great but Amano has been allowing defenders in the backfield for a while. Last year the Titans were dead last in run blocking (-95.5) per Pro Football Focus’ exclusive ratings and he still was 4th in the league in rushing and tied for 6th in TDs. Dude is a unreal talent that should be paid.
