He is asking to be paid like the top "playmakers" in the league. He will want to get similar money to what Fitz just got. This isn't a new development.

No one said a RB deserves to get that kind of money, but it's what he is going to want.

 

Titans need to be more aggressive in this. It seems obvious CJ is waiting on them and it would not surprise me if he is trying to force us into a trade.

I would have no problem if CJ got this high of a contract if we did not have as many holes as we have now. I do since we are so far away from any real shot at a super bowl.

You'll find that after all this talk of "playmaker" money that CJ will accept "highest paid RB" money for the reason that he does want to play. Just don't expect it til early September.

 

I would never trade him if I was the Titan GM - NEVER let him rot.

 

I think that the titans are obviously not even considering trading cj. The word trade has never come out on their side. I think it is interesting that they are accepting his hold out with patience which tells me that they are going to sign him at some point to a deal.

 

how much money does CJ really need anyways? did he really spend that much on the cars he bought for his linemen 2 years ago...

 

Make Herb Donaldson the first string RB and trade Johnson. It'd be the Titans way

 

I love CJ and I want this deal done ASAP but he crazy if he thinks he's getting that Fitz deal

 

How much longer can he hold out until he starts getting suspended like Vincent Jackson last year?
