Why? You guys on CJ's side keep saying it's just business. Well, the FO is just building a team, business wise, that will help make a run for the SB.

So how would trading away a guy you have rights to that should be with the team helping you win that SB make any sense, business wise?

Bottom line, the FO doesn't have to care about CJ's career, they have to worry about the team. That worry could include CJ's career, but doesn't have to.

why trade him? You won't get anything for him because of what he is wanting. Let him sit and when his money stops coming in he will come back to work like he is suppose to be doing now.

I do agree with RB's losing a step, but if CJ2K does lose a step, then he will be with the rest of the other RB's, since he's a step ahead of them.

    LOL, just kiddin!!!

Again, add the fact he showed up last year and took a minimal raise with the FO saying they would take care of him this year. Still hasn't happened yet as of 1:15 EST.

It benefits the Titans by not having to play against him.

It benefits the Titans by having the rights to a dynamic player who can be effective as a scatback

It benefits the Titans by making all players know that you show up when under contract and there will be no new contracts unless the FO says so.

It benefits the Titans because if CJ eventually retires then the Titans would get a CAP bonus on the portion of CJs signing bonuses he will be forced to pay back to Tennessee. If the Titans trade CJ then that money would be counted against the CAP

at least the old CAP worked like that. Not claiming to understand the new CAP

We see what you are saying.....but running off, low-balling, and rep-smearing all the talent on our team gets us no closer to a superbowl.

Bottom line is CJ played for the Titans AFTER his record setting year for a measly few million. He estentially risked his nfl and financial future to play for us last year. In return, for good faith, Titans promised him his payday. People talk about honoring your contract, well how about honoring your word? CJ risked everything playing last year under his salary. If CJ wants to stay away, we as fans should accept his decision after what he could have sacrificed last year.......FOR THE TEAM.
