If Matt and Jake are unable to play then we are finished anyway. I don't see Rusty being much, if any, better than a random free agent signing in that scenario. Sure he already knows the playbook. Still doesn't change the fact that he flat out sucks.

I think the team would be much better served using that roster spot on an extra DL or DB rather than a third-string scrub QB. Just my opinion though.

Cutting Haye saves money. He worked hard this off-season but they like the young kids in Klug & Clayton. Smith is the #1 so I guess it comes down to Haye or Marks to be released? I'm pretty sure Haye's salary is more hefty than Marks so it became an easy decision. 4 DT's is enough.

Thank you. Ratliff certainly wasn't the savior. We're talking third string QB anyway, and I'd rather have the younger one, that hasn't been on 5 teams in 5 years. What do you want from a third stringer other than potential? He's still only been here a little over a year.

    Edit: Bias granted.

Lmao At Hawk. There is 2 hawks in our time right?

Smith is our only old D'lineman now and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Rusty if one of the worst players I have ever seen no JOKE this guy will working in a burger king in the near future.

You haven't watched Titans football the last decade or so, then. The names Chris Henry, Justin McCareins, Andre Woolfolk, Michael Waddell, Lamont Thompson. David Givens, or Robert Reynolds ring a bell to you at all? Rusty would have been better than most of these guys in their positions. Rusty at WR would have been just as productive as David Givens, and by that, I mean not productive at all.

All of those guys except Henry, Givens, and Reynolds made some plays for us. Granted not mind blowing solid plays, but better than the level Rusty is at.

But I think Rusty is a decent 3.

It wouldn't really be wasting a roster spot on Rusty if we kept him. Didn't the NFL pass a new rule that you can dress 53 this year if the extra player is a QB? That way you can dress your 3rd string QB and not take up a roster spot.

Yeah you can dress a 3rd QB who is not counted among the 53 but if he does play that's it you can't use another Qb so it is an emergency thing only.

Rusty could still qualify for the PS since he is a 2nd year player and i doubt if anybody will snap him up but he will be our #3 every game.
