Sorry bro...dont trust the espn guys about cj. They make stuff up. Just like Wyatt pointed out.

When it comes to this cj issue only listen to Wyatt. Titans are talkin to cj and his agent but they arent opening up the checkbook like others are reporting. You got ya hopes up. Come back down to earth.

Something will have to give after the last preseason game and getting prepared for week 1. If CJ is not signed and starting in week 1, I will be very angry. >:(

Like I stated a while back, this has all the signs of being very similar to Revis last year. Signed right before the first game kickoff...

Which one of his latest tweets would you be talking about? He hasn't tweeted about his contract since he was in Nashville for the meeting.

Titans won't give in and they shouldn't.

Determine the right price and at that point tell him to take it or f*** off. We have him under contract for 2 years so the only way he's getting a pay day is if the Titans get a ton of draft picks from someone that's willing to give up picks on top of paying him.

If the Titans are offering in the 10-11 million range and he's not accepting, he's delusional. I've always been in the camp that says sign the guy, but I'm starting to feel like he's too full of himself and thinks he's worth way more than he is. Yes, he's good, no he's not $13-15MM good.

What's the best his situation could look like if he doesn't accept 10-11MM?

    1) He doesn't show at all for 2 years and goes bankrupt due to $30k per day fines.
    2) He shows and doesn't play hard - loses any possibility of a big contract from another team.
    3) Gets traded to a team like the Redskins/Raiders and we get a ton of draft picks.

I don't think CJ can live with #1 or #2 and I'd be fine with #3 or him accepting the 10-11MM. He really doesn't have a lot of leverage here. It'd be nice to have him on the field but we'll survive without him too.

It says that he's an idiot, asking people to pray for him so he can get $13 million instead of $11 million per year. That's like Matt Damon asking people to pray for him that he gets $35 million instead of $31 million for his next movie deal. It's laughable.
