Williams didn't look too good last night. Hasselbeck didn't step into his throw a few times when he threw to him so he didn't help Damian out really, but in the NFL you expect the WR to bail the QB out (he is gonna have to make those catches). I'm not worried about William's he had an off night. If he isn't our number 2 WR, next year he will be.

I've been impressed with Harper. He still needs to learn the ins and outs of running in the NFL, but he reminds me of Eddie George a little. He is quick on his feet, runs upright and cuts hard like George. Watched the game on NFL network earlier and they showed a replay of Harp running in the St. Louis game and one of his cuts made me check my eyes for a second thinking it was a replay of Eddie. Harp needs more power, especially leg power.

Having CJ would be a huge boost for our offense, but if he doesn't want to be here, I don't want him here. Ringer and Harper is a good enough combo, both have the talent to be a starting back.

Cookie is a beast, and I'm hoping we are hiding him in the wings for the regular season. If we utilize him correctly we will get mismatches in our favor not only for him but for other players as well.

Hasselbeck is going to be the reason we start slow on offense; he is still shaking off the rust. Once he gets that out of the way and gets timing with our WRs, I see us having a very effective Offense.

What I am most concerned with is play calling. I know it pre-season, we are going to keep it vanilla and not show our hand. But still the play calling has been suspect and that goes for the defense as well.

Without CJ I think we'll be turrible. With CJ we could be as good as mediocre.

Well now we find out Hall will be out for four games and we have Q Johnson from the Pack coming in to give it his best shot.I think if our offensive line blocks well and Hasselbeck isn't running for his life on every play then he and Britt could be a very dangerous combo.Britt even made a mediocre QB like Collins look like a million bucks against Philly last season.Just think we also have CJ as a threat in the backfield ready to take it to the house on any play. The thing i love most is i think we are definitely improved at the QB position and we won't be having so many three and outs or sucking at time of possession. The reason our defense sucked so bad last year is they never got a break because the offense never stayed on the field much.I definitely think Hasselbeck/Locker gives us way more hope than Collins/Young ever did.

I think they may start a little slow but will get better as the season goes on. If Britt stays healthy, he'll have a big year. Hass & Washington seemed to have some nice chemistry during camp/pre season. Washington will have a decent year I think. 45 catches, 600 yards receiving yards, 5-6 TD's.

D Will needs to have a big year, eyes will be on him for sure. I'm hoping for 35 catches.

Cookie will be a target, he'll make 50-60 catches and a few TD's.

CJ will have a big year as the OL has improved and our play calling won't be as lame.

If Britt can stay healthy and bring in a minimum of 50-60 catches, 700+ receiving yards, I think our offense can be top 12.

    What I'm hoping for (realistic)

    Haas - 20 TD, 14 INT's
    Britt - 60 receptions, 740 yards, 9 TD's
    Wash - 45 receptions, 550 yards, 5 TD'S
    Cookie - 40 receptions - 490 yards, 4 TD's
    CJ - 330 carries, 1,500 rush yards, 10 TD's

I think the offense will be average to above average.

When I first started posting here I thought this team had good pieces to build an offense around: CJ28, Hoboken Kenny, J.Cook and a solid offense line.(Not to mention that between Harper, Donaldson and Ringer CJ28 should be fresh)

Chris Palmer is a capable gameplanner/playcaller.

If other receivers emerge: Hawkins, D.Will this offense could really take off.
I'm not as high on Hasselbeck as most people are but he used to be a good QB.
At the very least Matt will be efficient but if he struggles or gets hurt I think Locker can take over and the offense will still be productive.
The effect Jake will have on the backside contain alone will add an element to the offense especially running game that Matt doesn't.

Like I've been saying. If Kerry Collins can lead us to a 13-3 with his 30% arm strength and eagerness to throw the ball away. Theres no reason Matt Hass can't do it. He's younger, more mobile and has a better arm. He's still accurate and is a savvy vet. Put that behind our above average OLine and he'll be fine.

LOL at 30% arm strength and eagerness to throw it away.

Very true, but what are the chances this defense will be as good as that year? Little to none

(Although I do think the defense will be good, I don't think it'll be that good
