Good call. Simply put, "elite" QBs will always be around, it seems.

Of course their will always be an 'elite' group of QBs compared to the rest of the bunch. But will their ever be another time when a Favre, a Brady, a P. Manning, and a Rodgers be playing simultaneously?

Rodgers is a newbie. And hasn't even played a consecutive season as an "elite" QB. While I think he'll fit into the category, lets not crown him just yet.

As far as this elite QB talk goes though, I haven't heard Rivers mentioned much. He's top of the league too.

    I'll disagree.

And I'm saying Favre, Manning and Brady can all be in the argument of best QB of all-time. Will the NFL ever sport 3 starting QB's at the same time that can be lauded as such?

Montana, Elway and Marino. Warren Moon is in that group, as well. Jim Kelly also played when they played.

That's a pretty good group playing simultaneously.

    It'll come around again.

Eras end and new eras begin.

Probably. Stats are always going to be broken. Just the way things go.

Can't argue one way or the other... merely opinion, frankly. It's a wait-and-see situation. My opinion is that another group will come along.

    Huh?

His 2009 season was better than 2010. The TEAM played better in 2010 than they did in 2009.

    2009: 64.7% completion 4,434 yards 30 TDs 7 INTs 103.2 Rating

    2010: 65.7% completion 3,922 yards 28 TDs 11 INTs 101.2 Rating

And just for $#%^s and giggles...

    2008: 63.6% completion 4,038 yards 28 TDs 13 INTs 93.6 Rating

A career low 28 touchdowns as a starter is pretty elite. You can go ahead and crown him.

I agree, Rivers is definitely one of the best.
