So the same people who are saying we need to see the future now cause of the spark he will supposedly bring are discounting the fact that Hasselbeck clutched that 3rd down? You can't have it both ways.

You get with Locker nothing more than what you get with Hasselbeck. I love Locker, great potential and I'm sure he'll be awesome, but a guy who KNOWS the game so well and especially this type of offense has a much better chance to me and apparently the coaching staff. The guy sparked this offense to 2 TDs and had there not been a miscommunication, easily a win.

Are you guys all still complaining if Britt runs inside and catches that ball like he should have?

The answer is no. You're praising Hasselbeck for being the spark of this offense and being a great offseason acquisition.

If anyone needs blame for this loss today, it's every player and owner who stood in the way of the lockout being lifted. Hasselbeck would have MUCH better timing with Britt by now had he gotten more than 2 weeks to play with him.

You act like a new coach and a new QB have never had immediate success. Kurt Warner and Dick Vermeil?

 

Hasselbeck's first TD from Britt was pure luck and a terrible throw at that so I don't think it should be counted when evaluating his performance...

other than late in the 4th quarter he was pretty terrible and adjustments need to be made. I'm not for starting Locker but Hasselbeck needs to get on board with this offense.

 

hard to run the ball when you're down in the 4th though...
