Maybe we do suck. But take 4 things in to account that may have summed up just how crazy and how much a fluke this opening week may have been:

    1. Pittsburgh 7
    Ravens 35

    2. The Detroit Lions won.

    3. Cam Newton passed for over 200 yards against an "NFL defense" (not sure they can be considered that after this fact).

    4. The San Diego Chargers won in week 1.

So maybe we look back on this week in hindsight and think- wow, what a crazy day that was...

Well, it was really a bad game to watch at the beginning. I think CJ2K should have not started the game. I really felt like MH was off sync with his WR's and some of his throws were ugly, but when he connects, it is pretty. I hate the thought of next weeks game against the Ratbirds. Hopefully everything begins to fall into place. Remember guys, this is a fresh start for what is to be considered a "Rebuilding year." I think we'll get better as time goes by. I just hope it is soon, real soon.

What is everyone's take on Locker playing? Does anyone think there may have been a difference?

I really hope we take this week to get it together and come out strong vs. the Ratbirds.

Reasons to be optimistic: Matt Hasselbeck is quickly learning the Kery Collins method of being successful on this team. Throw the ball to Kenny Britt as much as possible.

That gives me nothing to look forward to. The detroit lions will be good this year and we play the Ravens next week. Next Sunday the Lions will win again and we will have our hats handed to us by the Ravens. You can mark it down. We should have taken that 11 mill that Hasselbeck is gonna make this year and spent it on defense. I hope they are not considering Locker well mentored at this point. Hasselbeck wasn't our only problem. There was a reason he was scrambling for his life on several occasions. Dump Eugene Amano and let Kevin Matthews roll. Amano is like leaving a barnyard gate open after building a higher fence around the property.

I'm a Lions fan but in no way am I sipping that kool-aid yet.

Maybe if Stafford can stay healthy for half the season at least. Same for Best.

Everyone thought we would own the Jags after they released Garrard, I thought we'd probably fail because we were the underdogs and the Jags were hungry to prove the haters wrong.

Now we are HUGE underdogs against the Ravens and that's why i'm tipping us to win. We are at home as well, which is a plus. :brow:

    Prediction: Ravens 14-32 Titans

    We're gonna own them :logo:

The inability of Hasselbeck to move the ball and a mind numbingly dumb intereception during a comeback drive puts you guys that much closer to Locker to starting?

Seriously, if Hasselbeck is gonna lose to teams you should beat then why not put Locker out there and give yourself a chance?
